How to make grilled Korean-style marinated skirt steak
Boost the flavor of your skirt steak! Use this easy Korean marinade for pork, chicken, and other beef cuts as well!
Ingredients:
2 lbs grass fed skirt steak
1 cup naturally brewed soy sauce
1-2 tsp organic sesame oil
1 tbsp coconut palm sugar (you can substitute with honey or maple syrup)
1/2 tsp ginger powder
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1) Cut the skirt steak into hand size pieces
2) For the marinade, mix all the ingredients together
3) Place slices of skirt steak in tupperware and pour marinade over, making sure all of the meat is covered in the marinade!
4) Marinade for 30 minutes or overnight (I did overnight cause I like it to build and soak the flavors in)
5) Preheat the grill on high
6) Place the skirt steak then reduce the flame to medium
7) Skirt steak can be chewy so I cooked mine well done 5-6 minutes on each side or until juices run clear
8) Take it off the grill and enjoy!
