2 c ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
4 ts BAKING POWDER
2 tb SUGAR
1/2 ts CREAM OF TARTAR
1/2 ts SALT
1/2 c SHORTENING
2/3 c MILK
1 ea EGG, SLIGHTLY BEATEN
STIR TOGETHER FLOUR, BAKING POWDER, SUGAR, CREAM OF TARTAR AND SALT. CUT IN SHORTENING TILL MIXTURE RESEMBLES COARSE CRUMBS. MAKE WELL IN CENTER OF MIX; ADD MILK ALL AT ONCE. STIR UNTIL DOUGH CLINGS TOGETHER. KNEAD GENTLY ON A FLOURED SURFACE FOR 10 TO 12 StrOKES. ROLL OR PAT TO A 1/2" THICKNESS: CUT WITH
2 1/2" BISCUIT CUTTER USING StrAIGHT MOTION. DO NOT
ROTATE THE CUTTER. THIS WILL CAUSE BISCUITS TO FLATTER THAN DESIRED. BAKE ON UN-GREASED BAKING SHEET FOR 10 TO 12 MINUTES AT 450 DEG. F.

pinch of salt
120 g of sugar
100 g of oil
30 g of corn starch
8 g of vanilla sugar
lemon zest
10 g of baking powder
330 g flour

bake at 200° for 15-20 minute

Here is the recipe:
ingredients:
4 cups biscuit mix (I used Pioneer)
2 cups sour cream
1 partial can 7up or Sprite (about 1/4 cup)
1/2 stick of butter (4 tablespoons)
Directions:
1. heat oven to 375F
2. in large bowl, mix together biscuit mix and sour cream with pastry blender. Add 7up a little at a time and mix with a fork until the dough forms a ball.
3. Sprinkle about 1/2 cup biscuit mix on counter to roll your dough out on. Turn the dough out onto the biscuit mix on the counter. The dough will be wet, so pat some biscuit mix on to the dough as needed. With rolling pin, roll the dough to 1/2 inch thick.
4. melt butter in skillet or baking pan.
5. using a round biscuit cutter, cut out the biscuits. (small drinking glass will work) Dip cutter in biscuit mix first for easier cutting.
6. Dip both sides of each biscuit in the melted butter and place the biscuits close together in the pan.
7. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Enjoy.
