: frozen 3/4 c margarine, imitation :
: melted, divided 1 ts salt
1/2 ts pepper
1 cn cream
1 c fat-free sour cream
1 c cheddar cheese -- grated
2 c corn flakes
: paprika Mix potatoes, 1/2 c margarine, salt, pepper, onions soup, sour cream and cheese together. Spread into greased 9x13" pan. Mix 1/4 c margarine with corn flakes, sprinkle over potatoes. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake 350 for 1 hour. Recipe By : Mom From: Mastercook Mac

4 very large Russet Potatoes
3 tbsp unsalted butter
3 tbsp all purpose flour
2 garlic cloves minced
1 1/2 cups whole milk -room temperature
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream -room temperature
3 ounces cream cheese -room temperature
10 - 12 oz mozzarella cheese (divided, use 1/2 cup for sauce) 1:49
8 - 10 oz sharp cheddar cheese (divided, use 1/2 cup for sauce)
Salt
ground or cracked black pepper
cayenne red pepper
green onions (garnish)
PORK or turkey bacon (garnish)
Bake 350

An Iowa Mom Makes Cheesy Potato Casserole
As a tribute to St. Patrick's Day, Iowa Mom makes her favorite POTATO casserole which is great for any time of year.
Easy Cheesy Potato Casserole Recipe
Mix together in a bowl
1 can cream of celery soup (or other creamed soups)
½ cup milk
8 oz (1 cup) container of sour cream
½ tsp onion powder
Dash of pepper (or to taste)
8 oz bag (2 cups) of shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Pour half into crockpot or baking dish:
1 bag (28oz) frozen shredded hash brown potatoes
Then pour half the soup mixture over that layer.
Pour the rest of the hash browns over that
Top with the rest of the soup mixture.
(Optional sprinkle the top with a little more cheese for decoration)
Set crock pot
For 3-4 hours use HI
Or For 6-8 hours use LOW
Or if using a baking dish, bake at 350o for about 45 – 60 minutes

So let's talk sweet potato casserole. This is my mom's recipe and it has hit the table and pleased tastebuds every year of my existence for holidays. And there is a reason it is requested every year! It is sweet, buttery, smooth sweet potatoes and a crunchy, pecan, brown sugar topping baked to perfection in a 13x9 dish! You have to try this one this year. Your family will thank you! INGREDIENTS:
Potato mixture:
3-4 cups of cooked sweet potatoes ( I use a rinsed and drained 40 oz can of sweet potatoes as a short cut)
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
2 eggs (beaten)
1 stick salted butter (room temperature)
1/2 cup milk or heavy cream (I use heavy cream cause...Thanksgiving!)
1 Tbsp Vanilla
(Optional 1/2 tsp nutmeg I don't usually use but some people love nutmeg more than I do)
Crumble Topping:
2/3 cup dark brown sugar
1 Cup chopped pecans (or other nuts if you would rather)
1/3-1/2 cup self rising flour
1/2 stick melted salted butter
