LAY HO MA!! If you've been watching the channel for a while now, you know I absolutely love fried rice. There are a million different combinations and it doesn't have to be super fancy. Join me in this episode and learn how to make an easy mixed mushroom fried rice recipe so delicious, it will be part of your weekly rotation. Let's begin.
Ingredients:
250g fresh mixed mushrooms
3 sticks green onion
3 tbsp olive oil
1 1/2 cups leftover white rice
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp white sesame seeds
Directions:
1. Slice the cremini mushrooms. Chop the seafood mushrooms and oyster mushrooms. Set the mushrooms aside
2. Finely chop the green onions
3. Heat up a nonstick pan to medium heat
4. Sauté the mushrooms dry for 5-8min
5. Add the olive oil, green onions, and rice
6. Add the soy sauce and sauté for another 2-3min
7. Plate the fried rice and sprinkle with white sesame seeds

Mushroom Rice Recipe - How to make British Indian Restaurant style Mushroom Rice - BIR
Mushroom rice is a delicious accompaniment to any curry and equally tasty on its own.
=== INGREDIENTS ===
1 chef's spoon (40ml) vegetable oil
½ medium (50g) onion peeled and finely sliced
5 mushrooms sliced
1 teaspoon (7g) salt
½ teaspoon (1g) kasoori methi leaves
1 teaspoon (3g) BIR mix powder
250g cooked basmati rice
handful of fresh coriander
(serves 2 people)
=== COOKING INSTRUCTIONS ===
Prep time: 5 mins | Cooking time: 15 mins
1. Heat a wok on a medium high heat and add the vegetable oil
2. Add the sliced onion and sliced mushrooms stirring occasionally and cook for around 5 mins until the onions turn translucent and soften
3. Add the mix powder, salt and methi and stir for 1 min
4. Add the cooked basmati rice stir so that all the rice is coated in the spices. Cook for another 5 mins until all the rice is piping hot.
5. Add the coriander and stir through then serve

Mushroom Fried Rice Recipe:
Oil - 3 tbsp
Garlic (finely chopped) - 1 tbsp
Ginger (finely chopped) - 1 tsp
Shallots (chopped) - 5 nos
Carrot (finely chopped) - 1no
Beans (finely chopped) - 4 nos
Mushroom (diced) - 200gm
Basmati Rice (cooked) - 200gm
Soy Sauce - 2 tsp
Salt - ½ tsp
Black Pepper Powder - ¼ tsp
Msg - ¼ tsp
Spring Onion (chopped) - For garnish
Cooking Instructions:
1. Heat Oil in a wok, add ginger, garlic, shallots and saute for a few seconds
2. Add the carrot and beans. Toss them on a high flame for a few seconds.
3. Add the diced mushroom, toss it. If it lets out water, cook it till all the water evaporates.
4. Add the cooked rice. Toss it till all ingredients combine evenly.
5. Add the salt, Pepper, Soy Sauce, and msg. Toss and mix well.
6. Transfer it to a bowl. Garnish it with spring onions. Serve it hot.
Cooking Tips:
1. Normal rice can be used instead of Basmati Rice.
