How To make Norwegian Nut Bread
1 c Unbleached all-purpose flour
-sifted 1 ts Baking soda;
1 ts Salt;
1/2 c Almonds,fiberts & sunflower;
-Seeds (chopped) 1/4 c Non-fat dry milk powder;
1 c Whole wheat-flour; unsifted
1 c Raisins;
1 tb Grated orange zest;
1 Egg; beaten
1 c Buttermilk;
2 tb Walnut oil;
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Coat empty 16-oz cans with non-stick cooking spray. IN a medium-size bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, nuts, dry milk, whole-wheat flour, raisins and orange zest. In a small bowl, combine egg, buttermilk, and walnut oil; add to flour mixture and blend well. Spoon batter into cans and bake 50 minutes or until golden. Loosen bread from cans with small spatula and cool on rack. Makes 2 small loaves, about 6 slices each. Recipe:
I have gotten into the bad habit of making a portion of these, that I keep in a big glass jar. That way there is always something to put my cheese or Rillette onto. They taste amazing. They are made of grains and seeds, so they are also good if you know someone who can not tolerate gluten, milk, eggs, etc. Or for people who do not eat carbohydrates. In that case you should probably leave out the fig-mustard I'm using in the picture though :-)

Sticking seeds to bread dough isn't as easy as just sprinkling them on the top and hoping for the best. Sure they may stick for a bit but chances are they will fall off after baking. Here are five different ways to get them to stick and stay put!
Dough Spec for five mini bloomers:
500g Strong White Bread Flour
310g Room Temperature Water
12g Fresh Yeast (7g dry)
10g Olive Oil
8 g Salt
Seeds I used:
Sesame
Poppy
Linseeds
Sunflower
Pumpkin
Method:
Dissolve yeast in water, mix all ingredients together.
8 Minutes kneading on an UNFLOURED surface
1 hour rest
Divide and preshape into balls
15 minutes rest
SHAPE and SEED
1 hour rest/final rise
20 minutes bake at 180C Fan/356F/Gas Mark 5

ARTISAN BREAD | NO KNEAD BREAD | Homemade Dutch Oven Bread | Crusty Bread |4K| Juicing Peaches
Homemade bread, what can sound better than that? Simple and easy recipe that anyone can make. This bread does not require any kneading and the end product is mind blowing. The flavor, the taste and the best sounding crunch... If you love good bread, this recipe is definitely for you.
Ingredient:
- 3 cups (400g) flour
- 2 tsp of salt (11g)
- 1 tsp active dry yeast (4g)
- 1 1/2 cup of lukewarm water (350ml)
Instructions:
1. To a bowl with lukewarm water (95-100F or about 36C) add yeast, mix well and let the yeast bloom for about 15 mins
2. In a separate bowl with flour, add salt and mix well. That is a great idea to sift your flour to prevent from big flour lumps
3. Once your yeast has bloomed, add flour to the yeast. By using the spatula carefully mix dry and wet ingredients together.
4. Cover it with a damp towel and let it rise for at least 2 hours
5. After 2 hours, transfer the dough into a floured parchment paper
6. Shape your dough into a ball or loaf
7. Cover with a damp towel and let it rest for 30 minutes
8. While your dough is resting, place your Dutch oven (I use 7qt) with a lid on in the oven and preheat to 450F (230C) with the Dutch oven inside
9. Once oven is preheated, carefully remove your Dutch oven out of the oven.
10. Holding the dough by the parchment paper, carefully place the dough into preheated Dutch oven. Cut excess parchment paper. Please be mindful, Dutch oven will be VERY hot.
11. Cover with a lid and bake in a preheated oven for 30 mins
12. After 30 mins, take the lid off and bake for another 15 mins or until golden crust
13. Take it off, let it rest for 20 mins
14. Enjoy with a salted butter or your favorite meal

NORWEGIAN SEEDS BREAD : super healthy SPELT bread (recipe in english)

Ingredients and steps + explanations down below:
Ingredients:
- 630 gr of sifted spelt flour
- 170 gr of wholegrain spelt flour
- 85 gr of wholemeal spelt flour
- 80 gr of oats
- 60 gr of pumpkin seeds
- 60 gr of sunflour seeds
- 50 gr of chia seeds
- 50 gr of walnuts seeds
- 35 gr of sesame seeds
- 30 gr of lin seeds
- 45/50 gr of yeast
- 16 to 18 gr of salt
- 1 liter of lukewarm water + a pinch of sugar in it
Steps:
1) MIX EVERYTHING TOGETHER, except the yeast and the water aside that you will add after the yeast has developed a bit
2) Let the dough rest for 30 min (cover it so it doesn't catch a cold)
3) Remove some gaz and put the dough in some bread molds (it fits perfectly two breadmolds), let it rest 45 min COVERED (if it catches a cold it won't raise)
4) Cook for 40 min at 225°
5) flip em without their mold and let it cook for an extra 15 min
6) Eat héhé

Nordic Nut Bread - Paleo Bread Recipe - Stone Age Bread Recipe - Stenalder Brød
In Denmark, we eat a lot of Rye bread. I had it everyday growing up in Stege for either breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Just like Rye bread the Nordic Nut Bread (sometimes called Stone Age Bread or Paleo Bread ) is very filling compared to white bread. If you like rye bread then you will enjoy this tasty homemade Nordic Nut Bread (Stenalder Brød in Danish) for sure. Plus it healthy!
Nordic Nut Bread Recipe
♥ Ingredients ♥
3 1/2 oz walnuts, chopped
3 1/2 oz almonds, chopped
3 1/2 oz flax seeds
3 1/2 oz poppy seeds
3 1/2 oz sunflower seeds
3 1/2 oz sesame seeds
3 1/2 oz pumpkin seeds
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
5 eggs
Directions:
Mix the nuts and seeds with salt, oil and 5 eggs. Place it in a lined and buttered baking form. Bake it at 350F for approx. 1 hour.
Let it cool before you slice it. Serve either plain or with butter/cream cheese.
