Classic Tuna Casserole With Potato Chip Topping Recipe
Here is my recipe for Classic Tuna Casserole with Potato Chip topping.
Tuna Caserole- Preheat Oven to 375 F. Combine- 1 bag cooked and drained egg noodles, 1 can cream of mushroom soup, 2/3 c. Milk, Salt and Pepper to taste, 1 can drained tuna, 1 1/2 c. frozen peas, and 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese. Once combined, transfer to greased casserole dish and cover with foil, bake for 25 minutes, remove foil and cover in crushed potato chips return to oven turn up temperature to 400 F. and cook for another 10 minutes or so until chips are lightly browned.

12 oz can of TUNA in water 8 oz SHELL PASTA 4 oz CREAM CHEESE softened 1 can CREAM of MUSHROOM SOUP 1 small ONION chopped 1 Tbsp PIMIENTOS or substitute fresh chopped peppers ½ cup CELERY chopped some PEAS 1 Tbsp fancy MUSTARD ½ sleeve of SALTINE CRACKERS or BREADCRUMBS 2 Tbsp BUTTER SALT and PEPPER to taste
How to Make Tuna Casserole Recipe
In a large bowl, combine all of the ingredients. Cook the shell pasta according to package directions--al dente!-- and then stir into the mix. Pour mixture into a greased 8X8 baking dish. Spread the mixture evenly and then top with buttered, crushed saltines, or breadcrumbs. Bake in an oven preheated at 400˚F for 30 minutes or until the topping is golden brown.
