A basic guide to RUM for everyone!
Today's video covers rum for everyone! I’ve been looking forward to this for a while (I bought a sign for the occasion), but struggled to condense it into one video. This category’s massive with an extensive history - there’s simply too much to cover in one go! Rum’s been produced around the world for centuries, and the genre has very little rules. Essentially, any spirit distilled from sugarcane juice or its byproducts (molasses, evaporated cane syrup, etc.) can be labeled as Rum. It’s left to the individual regions to impart their own regulations (or lack there of) to the production of the spirit. Because of this there are countless expressions, and though exploring them all is exciting, navigating the nuances can be intimidating. I’m going to to help break this down. We’ll discuss a few common methods to categorize rum, why they work and why they don’t, and I’ll offer some of my bottle recommendations for those just getting started. Hopefully this helps you understand the mysterious world of rum so you’ll be able to better predict what’s in the bottle - and ultimately be encouraged to try something new! Cheers!

We Tried 17 Store-Bought Eggnogs Here's The Best One To Buy
Every year when the holidays roll around, we can look forward to all the flavors and treats that come with the season. Eggnog is one of those treats. Completely synonymous with Christmastime, eggnog has a great, albeit acquired, taste. Whether you prefer to add rum, brandy, and bourbon or prefer to drink it straight, the flavor and quality of the eggnog is very important. With a busy holiday season, some of us prefer to go with store-bought eggnog instead of tackling yet another recipe. However, there are a lot of brands out there to choose from. We are here to help. We tried 17 store-bought eggnogs, and in this video, we’ll tell you the best one to buy.

Weight Watchers Eggnog (Egg nog) Recipe. Fat Free, Dairy Free, Sugar Free. The Guilt Free Gourmet
This video shows you how to make a FAST batch of ultra low calorie, fat free, sugar free & dairy free egg nog. This stuff is the boooomb. Merry Christmas..... just a bit early.
** LOW POINT EGG NOG **
Yields 8 cups.
1 Point per cup, around 35 calories per cup.
Thick, Creamy, Cashew Milk Egg Nog.
Because @chiafullo got me so good today with that Boba Fett picture he posted.... *grumbles* I figured I'd put on my Boba Fett star war 'ugly christmas sweater' for this video, throw on some Johnny Mathis, and give you a Christmas recipe... in October. TAKE THAT, Lifetime Channel!!! I beat you!
Ingredients:
* 1/2 gallon unsweetened vanilla cashew milk (or almond milk)
* 1 (1oz) package Jell-O instant sugar free vanilla pudding
* 1/2 to 3/4 tsp ground cinnamon, to taste
* 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
* 2 Tbsp 0 point sweetener o choice
* 1/2 tsp Rum extract, found in the baking aisle, by the vanilla extract.
Directions:
- Pour half of the cashew milk into a blender or tall container.
- Add the remaining ingredients and process till smooth with a blender or immersion blender.
- Pour the mixed ingredients back into the cashew milk container, shake till well combined.
NOTE:
- Because this egg nog is fat free, like any fat free beverage (fat free milk, almond milk, etc) it will begin to freeze if it gets too cold in your fridge. It is best served slightly warmed, or at room temperature. Like most egg nogs.
Done.
