How To make Sweet Bishop's Bread
2 1/2 c Flour
2 c Light brown sugar
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 c Butter
1 t Baking powder
1/4 ts Baking soda
1 1/2 ts Cinnamon
1 Egg
1 c Buttermilk
Mix together flour, salt, sugar and butter until crumbly. Measure and set aside 3/4 cup of the mixture. To the remainder add the baking powder, soda, cinnamon, egg, and buttermilk. Beat until smooth. Spread batter in a greased 8" square pan. Bake in preheated 350 deg f oven for 50 to 60 minutes or until a wooden pick comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes. Cut into 9 pieces and serve warm.

Chec de albușuri cu nucă, alune, fructe confiate rețeta de Pâinea Episcopului CC SUB | Savori Urbane
Acest chec din albușuri este de o finețe rară! Checul iese foarte pufos și fraged deși nu conține praf de copt! Are o cantitate impresionantă de unt și este plin de mici surprize delicioase: nuci, alune, migdale sau fistic, bucățele de smochine, curmale, caise uscate, coji confiate de portocală, ciocolată, cireșe glasate etc. Este un desert rafinat care poate sta pe masa de Crăciun sau pe mesele orice alte mese festive (Revelion, aniversări etc).
Puteți alege limba subtitrărilor (RO sau ENG) apăsând pe CC și setări.
Rețeta acestui chec din albușuri este una foarte veche, de peste 300 de ani. Originile par a fi germane (de pe granița cu Franța). Numele lui este „Pâinea Episcopului”, fiind tradus ca atare din germană (Bischofsbrot), franceză (Pain d’évêque) sau maghiară (Püspökkenyér). În Ardeal și Banat acest chec cu albușuri a venit pe filiera austro-ungară. La noi în casă i se zice Pâinea Episcopului iar rețeta o avem de la străbunica mea Buia, din Sibiu. Este o bună idee de utilizare a albușurilor rămase de la cozonaci, maioneze, prăjituri etc!
Checul cu albușuri poate fi copt în forme clasice pentru chec sau cozonac, dar și în forme circulare de guguluf (Guglhupf). Iată cum poți prepara un chec pufos din albușuri!

Ingredients:
2¾ cups all-purpose flour
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp salt
½ cup unsalted butter at room temperature
1 tbsp baking powder
1 cup milk
2 eggs
½ cup pecans or almond flakes, roasted
cooking spray
Streusel Topping:
½ cup granulated sugar
½ cup all-purpose flour
¼ cup unsalted butter at room temperature
1 tbsp ground cinnamon

0:07 Preheat your oven to 360 degrees F and grease a springform cake tin with cooking spray.
0:14 Sift together flour, salt, and baking powder. Set aside.
0:37 In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients for the streusel topping. Mix until crumbly and set aside.
1:10 In another mixing bowl, cream together sugar and butter until pale.
1:33 Add milk and eggs. Continue creaming until incorporated.
1:52 Fold in sifted flour mixture and almond flakes into your butter mixture until evenly incorporated.
2:10 Transfer your cake batter into your cake tin then sprinkle your streusel topping on top. Lightly tap to release any air bubbles and transfer to the oven.

Flourless Moist Chocolate Cake / Gluten Free / No Flour
Flourless Chocolate Cake (pan size 38 x 26 cm or 15 x 10 in)
1 cup = 240ml; 1 tbsp = 15ml; 1 tsp = 5ml
120g dark chocolate (1 cup)
30g unsalted butter (2 tbsp)
30ml milk (2 tbsp)
4 egg whites
a pinch of salt
50g sugar (4 tbsp)
4 egg yolks
1 tsp vanilla extract (5ml)
Bake at 170C for about 20 minutes
Chocolate Cream Filling
150g dak chocolate (1 cup + 2 tbsp chopped chocolate)
90g heavy cream (1/3 cup)
300g cold heavy cream (1 1/4 cup)
30g sugar (2.5 tbsp)
Cocoa Syrup
75ml hot water (1/3 cup)
1 tbsp cocoa powder (7g)
2 tbsp sugar (25g)
Mix to dissolve and let it cool down completely
Chocolate Glaze
50g cocoa powder (1/2 cup)
115g sugar (1/2 cup + 1 tbsp)
85ml water (1/3 cup)
85g heavy cream (1/3 cup)
1 tbsp gelatine powder (9g)
3 tbsp cold water to bloom gelatine (45ml)
