Classic Tomato & Cucumber Salad! Noreen's Kitchen Fast & Fresh!
Greetings! Last week when I posted our Pizza Burgers video I had several requests for a video showing how I make the salad that I served along with those. Well here it is!
This is a classic tomato and cucumber salad that is fast, fresh and delicious! I grew up eating this salad. Nary a summer dinner was eaten without this being served! This is the perfect answer to the bounty of the garden in the middle of summer. Fresh tomatoes, crisp cool cucumbers a bit of minced onion and garlic as well as a few seasonings and a bit of olive oil round out this perfect salad.
I love this salad and so does my family. Except for Micah who would rather eat her veggies undressed and individually dipped in ranch dressing. Even Rick's mom made a salad similar to this one when he was growing up. I think people love it because it does not require lettuce. It only requires a few easily attainable veggies (especially if you have a garden) and you can throw it together fast.
So I hope this satisfies everyone who clamored for this recipe! I hope you try it and I hope you love it!
