These are the ingredients for the Tres Leches Cake. Please make sure to pay attention to the steps in the videos. I added all the details step by step. I already made the mistakes so you don't have to. So far the feedback is good for this recipe. Please continue to share your experience in the comments.
Tres leches Drink recipe-
Preheat oven to 350 Degrees (Important) Pan size: 9.5 x 13.5 x 2 in 3 Q Take Cake for 30 Mins
Cake mix:
1 1/2 Cups Cake Flour (Swans Down Brand)
1 1/2 Teaspoons of Baking powder
1/4 Teaspoon of Salt
5 Eggs
3/4 cup of Sugar (I used Mexican sugar in the video)
1/4 cup sugar for the Egg whites
1 Cup of Milk ( I used two percent in the video)
2 Teaspoons of Mexican Vanilla Blend (
Syrup:
1 Can of evaporated milk (Carnation)
1 Can of Condensed Milk (La Lechera)
1/3 Heavy whipping cream
I like it with 1 Teaspoon Mexican Vanilla Blend (vanilla)
- Cool the cake for 30-60 minutes before adding the syrup
- Once you add the syrup make sure to let it cool in the refrigerator for at least 3hrs
Topping:
Strawberries or your choice of fruit
(berries work best and someone mentioned they liked it with cherries and peaches)
2 Cups of heavy whipping cream
1/2- 1/3 Sugar (You pick the sweetness level of your cream)

EASY TRES LECHES CAKE | How To Make Tres Leches Cake | Three Milks Cake Recipe
Today I continue my FAKE IT TILL YOU MAKE IT recipe series with an easy delicious Tres Leches Cake! You can use the boxed cake mix of your choice or make sponge cake from scratch, but the milk syrup I use is perfect for this cake and I hope you give it a try.
INGREDIENTS
1 boxed cake mix of your choice (I used Classic White)
1/3 cup (79 ml) vegetable oil
8 fluid oz (236 ml) water
4 large eggs
MILK SYRUP
12 fluid oz (355 ml) evaporated milk
12 fluid oz (355 ml) heavy cream
14 fluid oz (414 ml) sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp (5 ml) vanilla extract
orange peel (optional)
1 cinnamon stick (optional)
CAKE TOPPING
16 fluid oz (473 ml) heavy cream
2 TBSP confectioner's sugar
Fresh fruit of your choice for garnish
-In a bowl combine boxed cake mix, oil, water, eggs and mix well
-In a 9x13 baking pan greased and lined with parchment paper, pour cake batter
-BAKE in a PREHEATED oven @ 325ºF for 30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean
-Cool cake completely
MILK SYRUP MIXTURE
-In a sauce pan add evaporated milk, heavy cream, orange peel and cinnamon stick
-Bring to a gentle simmer using a low to medium low heat
-Once milk simmers, remove from heat and allow to steep for 15 minutes
-Once mixture is cooled, discard orange peel and cinnamon stick
-Then add sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract and mix well
SOAK THE CAKE
-Remove cake from pan and flip on to platter
-Be sure to level cake before putting on to platter
-Then slice off the cake exterior crust to allow cake to soak up the milk syrup better
-Once cake is prepared, slowly pour milk syrup all over the cake
-cover in cling wrap and refrigerate for at least 3 to 5 hours, overnight for best results
-In a large bowl pour in heavy cream and beat until soft peak stage
-Then add sifted powder sugar
-Continue to beat until stiff
-Frost cake with whipped frosting and garnish with fresh fruit of your choice
Serves 16 pieces

Chocolate Tres Leches Cake :
- 100 gr Cake Flour ( 1/2 cup + 3 tbsp)
- 40 gr Unsweetened Cocoa Powder ( 1/4 cup + 1 tbsp)
- 1 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 150 gr Sugar ( 3/4 cup)
- 3 Egg Yolks
- 3 Egg Whites
- 130 gr Hot Milk ( 1/2 cup + 1 tbsp)
- 70 gr Butter ( 2/3 stick)
- 30 gr Chocolate ( 50% cocoa) ( 1 ounce)
Chocolate Milk Bath:
- 120 gr Hot Milk ( 1/2 cup)
- 70 gr cold Heavy Cream ( 1/4 cup + 1 tbsp)
- 130 gr cold Condensed Milk ( If you want your mixture to be sweeter, you can add more)
- 15 gr Cocoa Powder ( 2 tbsp)
- 25 gr Chocolate ( 50% cocoa) ( 1 ounce)
Chocolate Whipped Cream / Mousse:
- 250 gr Heavy Cream ( 1cup)
- 60 gr Dark Chocolate ( 50 % cocoa) ( 2 ounces)
- 1 tbsp Sugar
▶ NOTE: Leave the cake to soak for at least one hour. Traditional Tres Leches is served directly in its baking tray with the excess milk. You can either serve it that way, or transfer it onto a platter like I did. It's up to you, depending what texture you prefer.
This recipe makes 6 portions and I used a 7 inch pan :)

For the top;
1 pack whipped cream powder (75g)
1 cup cold milk (200 ml)

Prepare Cake:
-Maida (All-purpose flour) 1 & ½ Cup (230g)
-Namak (Salt) ½ tsp
-Baking powder 1 tsp
-Nurpur Butter unsalted 200g (room temperature)
-Bareek cheeni (Caster sugar) ¾ Cup
-Anday (Eggs) 5 (room temperature)
-Doodh (Milk) 1/3 Cup (room temperature)
-Vanilla essence 1 tsp
-Whipped cream
-Mango
-Podina (Mint leaves)
Directions:
Prepare Mango Sauce:
-In frying pan,add mango puree & cook on low flame for 3-4 minutes.
-Add sugar,mix well & cook on low flame until for 4-5 minutes or until it thickens,strain & let it cool.
Prepare Mango Milk Syrup:
-In a jug,add cooked mango puree (1 Cup),cream,condensed milk,milk,whisk well & set aside.
Prepare Cake:
-On a bowl,place sifter,add all-purpose flour,salt,baking powder,sift well & set aside.
-In another bowl,add butter & beat well for 3-4 minutes.
-Add caster sugar & beat well for 2 minutes.
-Add eggs,one by one & beat after each edition.
-Add dry flour mixture & beat well.
-Add milk,vanilla essence & beat well.
-Grease baking dish (8.5 X 8.5 inches) with butter,lined with butter paper & grease it with butter.
-Pour cake batter,spread evenly & tap few times.
-Bake in preheated oven at 170C for 40-42 minutes or until skewer comes out clean.
-Let it cool at room temperature.
-Carefully remove butter paper & flip cake on baking dish.
-Poke holes with the help of fork or skewer,pour prepared mango milk syrup & let it absorb completely (add more syrup if required).
-Cover with cling film & refrigerate for 2 hours.
-Add & spread whipped cream & prepared mango sauce.
-Garnish with mango,mint leaves & serve chilled!

-Ek,ek ker ka anda shamil karein aur beat kertay rahein.

-Baking dish (8.5 X 8.5 inches) ko makhan sa grease karein aur butter paper laga ker makhan sa grease ker lein.
-Cake batter dal ker evenly pheela lein aur few times tap karein.
-Preheated oven mein 170C per 40-42 minutes kliya bake ker lein.
-Room temperature per thanda ker lein.
-Butter paper ko carefully remove ker lein aur dish per flip ker lein.
-Fork ya skewer ki madad sa cake per holes ker lein aur tayyar mango milk syrup dal dein aur completely absorb hunay dein (agar zaroorat ho tou aur syrup dal dein).

-Aam aur podina sa garnish ker ka thanda serve karein!
