How To make Yuletide Red Velvet Cake
cake:
1 pk German chocolate cake mix
1 c Sour cream
1/2 c Water
1/4 c Oil
1 oz Red food color
Frosting- 1/2 c Flour
1 1/2 c Milk
1 1/2 c Sugar
1 1/2 c Butter, or margarine
1 Softened
1 tb Vanilla
Garnish- 1 Marzipan; 3 1/2 oz. tube
1 Red and green food color
1 Sugar
Recipe by: Pillsbury Classic Holiday cookbook #112 Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans. In large bowl, combine all cake ingredients at low speed until moistened; beat 2 minutes at high speed. Pour batter into greased and floured pans. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 25 to 35 minutes or until top springs back when lightly touched in center. Cool 15 minutes; remove from pans. Cool completely. Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off. In medium saucepan, combine flour and milk. Cook over medium heat until mixture is very thick, stirring constatantly. Cover surface with plastic wrap; cool. In large bowl, beat 1 1/2 cups sugar and margarine until light and fluffy.
Gradually add flour mixture by tablespoonfuls, beating at high speed until smooth. Beat in vanilla. Fill and frost cake, using 1 cup frosting between layers. Divide marzipan into 2 parts, making 1/4 and 3/4 portions. Knead a few drops of red food color into 1/4 of marzipan. Form into 24 to 36 small balls to resemble holly berries. Knead a few drops of green food color into 3/4 of marzipan. On surface sprinkled lightly with sugar, roll green marzipan to 1/8-inch thickness. With 1 to 2-inch holly leaf cookie
cutter or paper pattern and sharp knife, cut 12 to 16 leaves. Arrange leaves and berries on top of cake. Store in refrigerator. 12 to 16 servings. -----

What You Need:
For Cake:
1 box white cake mix
Red and green dye
For Rum Glaze:
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
Nip of rum
Cream Cheese Frosting:
1 block cream cheese
1/2 stick butter
2 cups powdered sugar
Glitter sugar to decorate
1. Mix a white cake to box instructions. Divide in half and dye one red and the other green. Pour each into a parchment lined sheet pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 15 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
2. Punch out circles from the cakes, each cake should render about 6 large circles. Allow to cool completely.
3. For glaze: In a small saucepan, add sugar and water and bring to a boil. Turn off the heat and add a little rum. Brush one side of your red and green rounds with the rum glaze over a cooling rack.
4. For frosting: add all ingredients in a bowl and whip for five minutes. Place in the fridge for at least two hours before using.
5. Assemble cakes alternating layers of red and green with frosting in between. You should have three four layer cakes. Slice and enjoy.

Powdered suger - 1/2 bowl (150ml)
Egg - 4 (one by one)
Vanilla - 1 tea spoon
Other ingredients:
Red food gel color - as required
Whipping cream - as required
Cream cheese frosting - as required
Batter paper - as required
Cake mould - 7

Red velvet cake is the most favourite cake for all. It is much more than vanilla cake tinted red. This red velvet cake contains butter, vanilla, and cocoa flavors, as well as a delicious tang from buttermilk. We used silky cream cheese frosting along with whipping cream which guarantees a delicious taste as well as look. Due to these the cake becomes moist, light, and fluffy. The chocolate taste is fairly mild but the flavours are delicately rich. I can assure that you all will definitely love it's taste.

사랑하는 이들을 위해서 올해 크리스마스에는 레드벨벳 케이크를 굽는 건 어떠세요?
레드벨벳 케이크처럼 크리스마스와 잘 어울리는 케이크는 없는 거 같아요.
색도 화려하고 맛 또한 너무 좋아요.
붉은 색을 내기 위한 여러 레시피들이 있지만...
이번엔 평범한 재료로 만들어 봤어요.
그리고 매혹적인 붉은색을 내기 위해서 코코아 파우더는 더치 처리가 안 된 내츄럴 코코아를 사용해 주세요. (허쉬 코코아 파우더)
더치 처리된 코코아 파우더는 컬러가 아주 진해서 밝은 레드 컬러는 적합하지 않아요.
(알카리 처리된 발로나 코코아 가루는 어두운 레드 컬러 밖에 표현 되지 않거든요..)
저는 밝은 레드를 원해서 허쉬(Hershey's)를 사용했고 소량의 색소로도 붉은색을 낼 수 있었어요.
레드 벨벳 케이크에 사용한 프로스팅은 아메리칸 버터크림입니다.
하지만 좀 더 특별한 맛으로 만들었으니 영상으로 확인해 주세요.
저도 영상을 촬영하면서 실수하는 부분도 있는데요.

● Cup measure standard

헤비 크림 (유지방 38%)
( 초콜릿은 다진 상태, 밀가루는 체 치기 전 상태입니다 )

우유 55g
식물성 오일 35g
노른자 4 (68g)

Didn't go exactly as planned, but maybe it's a Christmas miracle that it still tasted good!! Worth the fun of trying, so join me in learning and laughter in the kitchen!
INGREDIENTS:
Oreo cookies
Mini oreo cookies
1/2 cup milk
Dunk cookies and place on sprayed spring form pan (this video used a small 5 diameter pan.
FILLING for 5 pan (double the amounts for regular spring form pan)
8 oz softened cream cheese
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
3 TBSP heavy cream
1 egg
Mix above (by hand or with electric mixer)
Remove half the batter and add
1/2 cup red velvet cake mix
Then add a few tablespoons of milk to loosen the batter to pourable consistency
Pour into crust alternating the red and white as demonstrated in this video
Use a skewer to create the pattern as demonstrated in this video
Bake at 350* for 30 min until cake does not jiggle!

110g Unsalted Butter
50ml Oil
200g Sugar
3 Eggs
200ml Buttermilk
50ml Oil
1tbsp Red Food Color
300g Plain Flour
10g Cocoa Powder
1tsp Baking Soda
1tsp Baking Powder
1/2tsp salt
1tsp White Vinegar
Instruction
1. Preheat the oven to 165C and prepare 3 6inch tins.
2. Mix butter, oil, and sugar until combined.
3. Incorporate eggs one at a time.
4. Mix in buttermilk, oil, vanilla, red food colour.
5. Silt dry ingredients and mix until combined.
6. Add vinegar and mix well.
7. Pour batter evenly into 3 tins.
8. Bake for 30-35 mins or until a toothpick inserted into the centre comes clean.
9. Let the cake cool completely before assembling.
Cream Cheese Filling - Whip until stiff peaks
150g Cream Cheese
150g Whipping Cream
2 tbsp Condensed Milk
Russian Buttercream
500g Unsalted Butter
330g Condensed Milk
1. Whip butter until doubled in volume.
2. Slowly add condensed milk in 3 stages and whip well in between.
3. Whip for 10 mins and the buttercream is ready.
