Lemongrass Butter Recipe-Spice up your meals with Chef Eric-Culinary Classroom #foodie #cooking
Make Lemongrass Butter to spice up your dishes! RECIPE included!
Chef Eric’s Sizzle Lemongrass Ginger Butter Yield: 4 Servings
Ingredients:
Butter 2 Sticks (8 ounces)
Lemongrass, grated 2 Stalks
Ginger root, grated 2 Tablespoons
Sizzle Spice Blend 2 Tablespoons - or spice blend of your choice
Method:
The best way to get your meals full of flavor is to use my Sizzle Lemongrass Ginger Butter. It’s a great way to Spice it up! I use this butter on Grilled Tuna, Chicken or Steak. It is even great on Thai Style Chicken Curry! Make sure your butter is softened - take it out of the refrigerator and let it sit for 30 minutes, or until it easily gives when you press on it.
1. Place the butter in a bowl and stir in the remaining ingredients. You can use a hand held mixer, if you wish.
2. Once the butter has been well blended, you should taste it and add additional Sizzle, if needed.
3. Place the mixture on a sheet of Wax or Parchment paper and roll it into a cylinder. Twist the ends of the cylinder and refrigerate until needed. It will keep for 2-3 weeks. Or, you can freeze it for up to six months inside a plastic freezer bag.
4. Put 2-3 slices of the butter on your Grilled Steak, Tuna or Chicken. The heat will melt the butter and make a great sauce.
