1 cn Shoe-peg corn 1 cn Green beans french cut 1 cn Cream of celery 1/2 c Sour cream 1/2 c Chopped onion 1/2 c Grated cheese 1 Stick of butter 1 Roll of Ritz crackers 1/2 c Slivered almonds Mix forst two ingredients. Add to next 4 ingredients. Melt butter to crushed Ritz crackers for topping. Top with slivered almonds. Grease casserole dish and bake 350 degrees for 45 min.

All about Thanksgiving and Christmas Studio and Life Vlog Hi Friends, come join me as I celebrate Thanksgiving and decorate for Christmas and everything else in between. 24 hours before Thanksgiving I found out I would be hosting it at my house because my son was too sick with the flu. My poor daughter-in-law worked so hard for that day in hopes that he would be feeling better but he just got worse so they had to spend a quiet Thanksgiving. But they are definitely going to make up for it at Christmas time. I ended up showing you more of my Thanksgiving prep than I had anticipated, oh well. I love the holidays, even though my hubby is no longer with us. I miss him so much everyday but I know he's up in heaven rejoicing with all the angels and Jesus and that gives me, us HOPE! Have a blessed Christmas season friends as well as a New Year!!

French’s Green Bean Casserole:
Vanilla-Almond Sugar Cookie Recipe -3 cups unbleached, all-purpose flour -2 tsp baking powder -1 c sugar -2 sticks (salted) butter, cold -1 egg -3/4 tsp pure vanilla extract -1/2 tsp pure almond extract Preheat oven to 350. Combine the flour and baking powder, set aside. Cream the sugar and butter. Add the egg and extracts and mix. Gradually add the flour mixture and beat just until combined, scraping down the bowl, especially the bottom. The dough will be crumbly, so knead it together with your hands as you scoop it out of the bowl for rolling. Roll onto a floured surface and cut into shapes. Place on parchment lined baking sheets (I recommend freezing the cut out shape on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before baking) and bake for 10-12 minutes. Let sit a few minutes on the sheet, then transfer to a cooling rack.
Creole Northern Bean Soup with Andouille Sausage (Instant Pot)
Welcome Back !!!! Here's an Instant Pot recipe for a hearty creole bean and sausage soup. I love using the Instant Pot to cook beans - what a timesaver!
1. Pre-soak beans in Instapot for 3 minutes or overnight in water. If soaking in the Instant Pot, use 6 cups of water, pressure cook for three minutes, drain and rinse. If soaking overnight, drain and rinse beans. 2. Put the Instant Pot in sautee mode. Sautee onions, green peppers and celery. 3. Add the spices and sautee until vegetables are well coated. 4. Add the sausage and brown. 5. Add the garlic and sautee for 1-2 minutes more. 6. Now cancel sautee mode and add the beans and chicken broth. 7. Close Instant Pot and pressure cook for 30 minutes (soaked beans) or 60 minutes (no soak). 8. Natural pressure release and stir soup. Taste and adjust seasonings. Using hte back of a spoon, mash the beans to achieve a creamy consistency. 9. Serve immediately!
