How To make Christmas Bread
1 lb Frozen Bread Dough
1/2 c Candied Mixed Fruit
1/2 c Walnut,chopped
1/4 c Mincemeat
1 c Confectioners sugar
4 ts Milk
1/8 ts Cardamom ,ground
Thaw frozen bread dough according to package directions. On a lightly flowered board pull dough out until it is 12 inches long. Knead in the fruit,mincemeat and the nuts into the dough. With a sharp knife cut dough into 3 ropes, 12 inches long. Press the 3 ropes together on one end and braid on a greased cookiesheet. Let rise in a warm (90) degree place until double in bulk, about 1 1/2 hours. Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees F for 25-30 minutes. Cool. 200 grams ( ¾ cups) Milk
80 grams (⅓ cup) Sugar
4 grams (¾ tsp) Salt
4 grams (2 tsps) Ground Cardamom
70 grams (⅝ cup) Butter
50 grams (1 Large) Egg
120 grams (½ cup) Sourdough Stiff Starter
2 tsps saffron in a mortar + 1 tsp of milk
+ 1 egg for eggwash
Stiff Starter or Levain
30 grams (2 Tbsp) Water
30 grams (2 Tbsp) Sourdough Starter
60 grams (½ Cup) Flour
Filling
30 grams (2 tbsps) Butter at room temperature
25 grams (2 tbsps) Sugar
90 grams (½ cup) Raisins

Ingredients: 1 1/2 recipe
Bread flour 705 grams (5 1/3 cup)
Salt 9 grams (1 1/2 tsp)
Sugar 65 grams (1/3 cup)
Powder milk 23 grams (2 1/2 tbsp)
Instant yeast 9 grams ( 2 1/2 tsp)
Whole egg 2 large
Cold milk 105 grams (105ml) full creamm or fullfat milk
Cold water 255 grams (255ml)
Unsalted butter 75 grams (1/3 cup)
Filling:
brown sugar 1 cup
cinnamon powder 2 tsp
butter (softened) 1 stick
Walnuts, cashew nuts or anykind of nuts will do
black raisin 1 1/2 cup (soak in cold water for 2 hours)
tutti fruitti or glazed fruit 1 cup
Vanilla glazed:
powder sugar 3 cups ( best brand to use (PENCO brand powder sugar) you can order here: +6382449999. you can visit there fb page for more info.
hot milk 50ml (fullcream or fullfat milk)
honey 1 tbsp
pinch of salt
whisk all ingredients until smooth and silky.

Bread flour 235 grams
salt 3 grams
sugar 20 grams
milk powder 7 grams
instant yeast 3 grams
egg 1 medium
cold milk 35 grams
cold water 85 grams
unsalted butter 25 grams
Oven temperature: 160°c
Baking time: 20 to 25 minutes just until golden brown

Panettone is the most iconic Italian Christmas recipe, a delicious buttery fruit dough so rich in flavor! The traditional Italian Panettone is very difficult and long to prepare, but with this easy recipe everyone can make a Panettone in a super easy way without a stand mixer and without kneading! This recipe required just few hours instead of the traditional Panettone's which needs more days, but the taste is perfectly amazing!
►PANETTONE MOLD SUBSTITUTION: HERE MY HOMEMADE PANETTONE WITHOUT MOLD:
If you can't find a panettone paper mold, you can equally split the dough in two pieces, form into two balls and place them in two greased and floured cake pans (24x6-8cm/9,5x2-3 inch).
►YEAST: I've used an Active Dry Yeast that doensn't need activation. Every Country has different type of yeast, if your yeast needs to be activated, make it or just use Instant Dry Yeast.
