How To make Desperately Healthy Pancakes
-dorothy cross tmpj72b -part 1: 1/2 c Soy flour
1/2 c Whole wheat flour
1/2 c Unbleached all-purpose flour
2 tb Wheat germ
2 tb Powdered milk
2 tb Unprocessed bran
1 tb Baking powder
1/2 ts Baking soda
1/4 ts Salt
Grated peel of 1 orange -part 2: 2 ea Eggs; separated
1/2 c Plain yogurt
1/4 c Oil
1 tb Molasses
1 tb Honey
1 1/2 c Orange juice
Combine the first 10 ingredients. Reserve the egg whites and add the egg yolks and the remaining ingredients to the flour mixture in a food processor, blend well. Beat the egg whites until stiff; fold into the pancake mixture. Cook on a 300 degree griddle, for 2-1/2 minutes on one side and 1 minute on the other.

Pancakes al cuore di Nutella / ricetta facile e veloce
Pancake con cuore di Nutella...che dolce sarebbe senza Nutella?!
Originalissimi pancake con ripieno ???? tutti da gustare
Ingredienti:
250 ml di latte
200 g di farina 00
65 g di zucchero
1 uovo o in alternativa 1 cucc.no di miele
Nutella q.b.
Mescoliamo con una frusta tutti gli ingredienti fino ad ottenere un composto liscio ed omogeneo.
Mettiamo a scaldare a fuoco basso una padella antiaderente.
Con un cucchiaio prendiamo il nostro composto e lo facciamo colare all’interno della padella formando un pancake circolare di circa 10 cm di diametro.
Appena cominciano a formarsi le bollicine, posizioniamo al suo interno un cucchiaino di Nutella, ricoprendolo con altrettanto composto.
Girare e far cuocere l’altro lato.
Una volta appoggiati i nostri pancakes sul piatto di portata cospargiamoli di zucchero a velo e guarniamo il piatto a piacere… Con gocce di cioccolato, frutta o una colata di sciroppo d’acero!

These were good but could perhaps use some development.
They tended to be soft in the middle.
Cooking for a longer time on lower heat seemed to help.
I wonder about using more oat flour.

Ingredients:
1 ¼ cups whole rolled oats (could add up to 1 ½ cups)
½ cup whole wheat pastry flour
½ t baking soda
⅛ t salt
½ cup non dairy milk (almond, soy, cashew, etc)
2 very ripe persimmons
¼ cup chopped walnuts (optional)
1 T maple syrup
1 ½ t apple cider vinegar
