How To make Farmhouse Asparagus Pie(Great For Brunch)
20 fresh or 1 (10 oz.) pkg.
frozen asparagus spears -- cooked unbaked 10-inch pie shell 1 1/2 C. chopped cooked chicken
4 Slices bacon
1/2 C. shredded Swiss cheese
4 eggs
1 Tbsp. flour
1/2 Tsp. salt
2 C. light cream
2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan
paprika
Arrange cooked asparagus in bottom of the pie shell in spoke fashion. Top with chicken. Cook. Drain and crumble bacon. Scatter it and Swiss cheese over asparagus and chicken. Beat together eggs, flour, salt and cream; pour over asparagus. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and paprika. Bake in moderate oven at 375 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes or until pie filling is set. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.

The recipe is finally added to the description. I was spending a few days of love and fun with Bryant and my 2 grandbabies!! these are days I can never get back, so I'm soaking them up!
4 T butter
1 1/2 lb chicken cut in 1pieces
1 lb asparagus in 1 pieces
1/4 cup onion chopped
8oz mushroom
1/2 c chicken Broth
3/4 c heavy cream
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp thyme
1/4 cup mayo
1 T Dijon mustard
1 T lemon juice
1 1/2 cup gouda (save out 1/4 cup for top)
1/2 cup parmesean (save 1/4 cup for top)
Cook & assemble & bake per video instructions
