6 Nests fideo (angel hair
Pasta) 12 oz Jar picante sauce (mild or
Medium) 1 c Julienned nopalitos (cactus)
OR 12 oz jar pickled cactus Drained and rinsed OR (in a Pinch) 2 julienned and Blanched bell peppers 1 cn Pinto, poquito, anasazi,
Pink or other beans of your Choice 1 sm Can (4 oz?) diced green
Chiles cook the pasta according to package directions. blanch cactus, if using fresh. drain beans and green chiles. toss all ingredients together. this dish is best at room temperature, although it is good hot or cold also. 1 1/2 lbs cooked shredded chicken
20 corn tortillas
2 Tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 Tbsp water
7.05 oz (200 g) star pasta
8 oz can tomato sauce
2 Tbsp chicken bouillon powder
1 1/2 tsp ground cumin and black pepper mix
2 cloves of garlic
1/2 small onion
5 1/2 cups water
salt to taste

1 heaping tsp tomato bouillon
1 heaping tsp chicken bouillon
2 tbps oil
8 oz fideo (or any other short pasta)

Fideo is a simple and wonderful pasta that has been around for centuries PLUS it is a very delicious and economical way to feed a family. In this video I show you one of the recipes my Mom has used for years. I’ll be using one pound of fresh, coarse ground brisket. Here are the other ingredients to make this perfectly in your own home:
1/4 White Onion
1/4 Green Bell Pepper
1 Roma Tomato
1/3 c Tomato Sauce
1/2 tsp Pepper Corn
