How To make Gingered Beef Stir Fry
1/2 lb Boneless beef sirloin steak
-- cut 1/2-inch thick 1 ts Vegetable oil
1/8 ts Salt
1/8 ts Ground white pepper
1/2 c Sliced fresh mushrooms
1/2 c Snow peas
1/2 c Diagonally sliced celery
1/4 c Sliced green onions
1/4 c Red pepper strips
1 ts Minced fresh ginger
1 ts Cornstarch
1 tb Soy sauce
1 c Hot cooked rice
Cut beef diagonally across grain into 1/8-inch slices. Heat oil in wok or medium skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef and seasonings and stir-fry until beef is browned. Add vegetables and stir-fry until vegetables are tender crisp. Blend ginger, cornstarch, soy sauce, and 1 tablespoon water in small bowl; add to beef and cook, stirring, until sauce is thickened. Serve over rice. Microwave Oven Instructions =========================== Cut beef diagonally across grain into 1/8-inch slices. Combine beef, salt, pepper and oil in 1-quart baking dish. Cover with waxed paper and cook on HIGH (maximum power) 1 minute. Stir and cook an additional 1 to 2 minutes on HIGH. Remove beef and set aside. Add vegetables and cook on HIGH 2 to 3 minutes or until vegetables are tender crisp. Blend ginger, cornstarch,
soy sauce and 1 teaspoon water in small bowl. Add beef and cornstarch mixture to vegetables. Cover and cook on HIGH power 1 minute; stir and cook 1 minute longer. Let stand 2 minutes. Serve over rice. A very simple Chinese style stir fry dish. Using two of the most common aromatics - ginger and spring onion, we give the tender beef slices some beautiful fragrance.
The crux of any stir fry dish is heat control. Make sure your wok is smoking hot before throwing in the beef slices. Doing this seals in the meat juices and also imparts a smoky flavour to the dish. Within minutes, the beef will be almost cooked, then we add the spring onions and glaze with some shaoxing wine for that wonderful finish.

A classic Chinese dish of tender, juicy ginger spring onion beef served with a hot piping rice bowl - such an easy, comforting dish that even fussiest of eaters will enjoy.
Ingredients:
350g Sliced Beef
Marinate:
½ tbsp Oyster sauce
1 tbsp Light soy sauce
1½ tbsp Shaoxing wine
1 tsp Sugar
¼ tsp Baking soda
1 tbsp Egg white
1 tbsp Cornstarch
2 tsp Sesame oil
2 stalks Scallions / Spring Onions (cut into 1 inch long)
100g Ginger slices
2 tbsp Water
1 tbsp Shaoxing wine
1 tsp Dark soy sauce
1 tbsp Light soy sauce
1 tbsp Oyster sauce
½ tsp Sugar
2 tbsp Cooking oil

PF Chang's Ginger Beef Recipe
This Delicious Gluten Free Mongolian Beef dish is amazing! It's basically a replica of PF Chang's and Joey Tomato's Ginger Beef but for the quarter of the cost of dining out.
It's easy to make, tastes wonderful and is gluten free when you use gluten free soy sauce. Serve with brown or white rice. Reserve the extra sauce for a marinade as it's excellent on chicken or salmon.

1 lb beef steak, cut in strips and pounded with a meat hammer
1 tbsp of Chilli oil, Soya sauce and Vinegar
1 tbsp of Corn starch
2 tbsps Chilli oil
2 sliced shallots
2 spring onions(bulbs reserve stalks)
2 tbsps of julienne strips of Ginger
1 cup of Shemeji mushrooms
1 tbsp of Soya sauce
1 tsp of Oyster sauce
Juice of 1Ž2 an orange
1/2 cup Beef or Vegetable stock
2 tbsps Corn starch slurry
2 tbsps julienne of Carrots
2 tbsps sliced Spring Onion leaves
The orange juice really brightens up the flavors and counters the salt from the soya and hoisin. Also add a 1/2 cup of beef or vegetable stock and bring to a boil. Add in some cornstarch slurry – this is just cornstarch diluted in some water.
Finally it’s time to add the star of the show and toss it in the gravy to coat. Finish with some julienne of carrot. And some Spring onion leaves.

Heat oil in a wok and fry this beef individually remembering to not over crowd the pan till nice and crispy – keep these aside.
In a clean wok, add the 2 tbsps of Chilli oil and sauté the Shallots and Spring onions
Add the Ginger followed by the Shemeji Mushrooms and sauté to cook the mushrooms
Add the Soya and Oyster sauce, followed by the orange juice and stock
Add the corn starch slurry to thicken
Add the cooked beef and stir to coat
Garnish with the julienne of Carrots and Spring Onion leaves
