INGREDIENTS:
●1 cup cooked carrot , mashed
●2 eggs
●1/2 cup Ritz cracker crumbs
●1 cup milk
●1/2 teaspoon pepper
●1 tablespoon sugar
●6 tablespoons butter , melted
●1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Potato and cabbage casserole is a perfect dish for dinner or supper. It comes out tender and hearty.

✅ Ingredients:
• cabbage – 14 oz | 400 g
• potato – 1 lb | 450 g
• vegetable oil – 4 tbsp
• onion – 5 oz | 150 g
• carrot – 4,5 oz | 130 g
• 1 bell pepper
• 1 red chili pepper
• red chili flakes – 1 tsp
• ground black pepper – 1 tsp
• salt – 1 tsp
• cheddar cheese – 7 oz | 200 g
Sauce:
• 3 eggs
• milk – ⅔ cup | 170 ml
• sour cream – 6 oz | 170 g
• vegetable oil – 3 tbsp
• fresh parsley – ⅓ oz | 10 g
• all-purpose flour – 4 tbsp
• baking powder – ⅓ oz | 10 g
• salt – 1 tsp
✔︎ You will need:
• oven
• baking dish 9,5*14*2 in | 24*35*5 cm
• pan with a lid
• cutting board
???? Preparation:
1. Cut the potato, onion and bell pepper into small dices, the white cabbage and carrot into thin strips and chop up the parsley.
2. Heat a pan with 3 tbsp of vegetable oil, add the onion and fry for 5 minutes over medium heat.
3. Add the potato, stir, cover with a lid and fry over low heat for 5 minutes.
4. Then add the white cabbage, carrot, bell and chili pepper, cover with the lid and simmer for 5 minutes over low heat stirring occasionally.
5. Add the ground black pepper, red chili flakes and salt, stir, cover the lid and simmer over low heat for 5 minutes.
6. Cool down the fried veggies.
7. In a bowl whish 3 eggs, add the milk, sour cream, salt and vegetable oil and stir. Add the flour and baking powder, stir well with the whisk until smooth, add the chopped-up parsley and stir.
8. Brush a baking dish with 1 tbsp of vegetable oil and lay out the fried veggies, add the sauce, combine and spread evenly within the dish.
9. Bake for 25 minutes at 350°F / 180°C.
10. Sprinkle with the grated cheese and bake for another 5 minutes at 350°F / 180°C.
11. Serve the potato and cabbage casserole hot.
❗️Advices:
1. Cheddar can be changed for mozzarella.
2. Add any veggies to your taste to casserole.
3. Serve with sour cream and favorite sauces
