Stewed Hamburg Steaks Recipe (Tender and Juicy Japanese Nikomi Hamburg Topped with Cheese)
We are making Stewed Hamburg Steak. The juicy hamburg steak is stewed in the sauce full of umami flavor. Enjoy it with plenty of sauce. Delicious!
How to Make Stewed Hamburg Steak
(serves 2) Cook Time: 35 minutes
* Time for chilling the onion is not included in cook time.
- Patties -
250g Ground Beef and Pork (8.8 oz)
1/2 tsp Salt
140g Onion, chopped, for the patties and sauce * (4.9 oz)
10g Butter, salted or unsalted (0.35 oz)
15g Soft Panko (0.53 oz)
1 tbsp Milk
1 Egg, small-size
Black Pepper, coarsely ground
- Sauce -
Onion, chopped *
1 Garlic Clove, chopped
50g Button Mushrooms, 1 cm (0.4) thick slices (1.8 oz)
Olive Oil
3 tbsp Red Wine
100g Packaged Boiled Tomato, chopped (3.5 oz)
1/2 tsp Sugar
2 tbsp Tomato Ketchup
1/2 Bouillon Cube or consomme cube
80-100ml Water (2.7 -3.4 fl oz)
Salt
Black Pepper, coarsely ground
- Toppings -
Pizza Cheese
Parsley Leaves, chopped
- Side Vegetables -
8 strips Red Bell Pepper, 5 cm (2) length
4 String Bean Pods, cut into 3 equal pieces
1/2 tbsp Olive Oil
1/2 tbsp Water

How to make vegan Japanese hamburger steak/お肉なしでしっとりふっくらハンバーグ

Japanese hamburger steak is always in a top3 of everyones favorite home-dish. There are many, delicious hamburgers in this world but Japanese hamburger steak is a bit different. Not like American/Western style we are 100% meat patty!, we use vegetables and make it juicy and sometimes fluffy. So, more like meatloaf?
Today, instead of ground beef and pork, I used defrosted Tofu. You can use soy meat or any meat substitute you like. I used tofu because it has umami without additives.
If you can find Shiso and daikon radish in your neighborhood, try Wafu sauce!
INGREDIENTS for Two
300g Firm Tofu
80g Oat
1 Onion
1 Shiitake mushroom
1TBS Soy sauce
2TBS Unscented Coconut oil
Nutmeg, Paprika, Black pepper
Japanese Wafu sauce
1:1 Soy sauce and Rice/White vinegar
Shiso herb
Grated Daikon radish
Green onion (optional)
BBQ sauce for One
1 TBS Worcestershire sauce
1 TBS Ketchup
1 TBS Red wine
1 Tea spoon Maple syrup
3 TBS Water
Mushrooms
Parsley (optional)

皆さんはハンバーグ好きですかー?????
今回はミンチの代わりに水をこれでもかと抜いたお豆腐を使っています。お肉が入っていないのに、ずっしり、そしてしっとりです。
脂がない分くどくないので、ハンバーグに特別愛を感じていない方でもw 美味しくぺろりといけちゃいますよ。
お豆腐の代わりに大豆ミート等でももちろんOK。おからもいいですね。どちらもパサパサにならないように豆乳などで調節してください!
材料 (2人分)
木綿豆腐 300g
オーツ麦 80g
玉ねぎ 1
しいたけ 1
しょう油 大さじ1
無香ココナツオイル大さじ2
ナツメグ, パプリカパウダー, コショウ
和風ソース
しょう油:酢=1:1
しそ
大根のすりおろし
ネギ (あれば)
BBQ ソース(1人分)

- ½ tbsp dijon mustard - smooth
- 2 tsp honey

Ingredients: For 8 pieces
- 1 onion
- 1 carrot 150g
- 100g tofu
- 250g ground beef
- 250g ground pork
- 2 Tbsp milk
- 1 egg
- 25g panko
- pinch of salt and pepper
Sauce: For 4 pieces
- 50g ketchup
- 30g butter
- 15g sugar
- 20g okonomiyaki sauce
The Hamburger yield and the sauce yield is different as usually we would cook them 4 at a time per meal.
