STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ARE PROVIDED IN THE VIDEO.
INGREDIENTS I USED:
Bake in oven preheated to 325 degrees for 1 hour 30-40 mins.
3 Sticks of UNsalted Butter (Room Temperature)
3 Cups Sugar
5 Eggs (Room Temperature)
3 Cups Cake Flour
1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
1/4 Tsp Salt
1 Cup Milk (Room Temperature)
1 Tsp Lime Extract
1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
1 Tsp Creme Bouquet Flavoring (Not a must have ingredient)
1 3 oz box Lime Jello
2 Fresh Limes
Lime Zest
Lime Juice
For GLAZE I USED:
Powdered Sugar
Cream Cheese
Lime Juice

The best lime cake recipe, if you love lime this is the cake for you, the glaze sets it off and good for any occasions.

Ingredients:
1 standard size box white or vanilla cake mix
1 cup lime yogurt or sour cream not fat free
1/2 cup oil
4 eggs
1 tablespoon finely grated lime peel
3 tablespoon lime juice
Glaze
2 cups powdered sugar add more if you want a thicker glaze
3 tablespoon melted butter
3-4 tbsp lime juice
1-2 tbsp milk more or less depending on consistency you want the glaze
pinch of salt
heat oven to 350 coat 12 cup bundt pan or 10 inch fluted tube pan with no stick cooking spray. Beat cake mix, yogurt or sour cream, oil, eggs, lime juice and peel in large bowl with electric mixer on low speed 1 minute or until moistened, beat on medium speed 2 minutes, spread in prepared pan. Bake 35-44 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, cool 15 minutes in pan, remove from pan. Mix powdered sugar, milk, lime juice ,melted butter, pour on cake.

6 eggs
3 cups sugar
1 lime 3 oz jello packet
5 limes, juice and zest
1 tbsp vanilla extract
2 tsp lemon extract
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3 cups all purpose flour
Glaze
2 tbsp butter
1 cup powdered sugar
2-3 tbsp lime juice ( from above zested limes)

LIME CAKE & GLAZE with CREAM CHEESE FROSTING
3 ounce package LIME JELLO
1-1/3 cups SUGAR
2 cups ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
1/2 teaspoon SALT
1 teaspoon BAKING SODA
1 teaspoon BAKING POWDER
1-1/2 cups Coconut, Vegetable or Corn Oil
3/4 cup ORANGE JUICE
1 tablespoon FRESH LIME JUICE
1/2 teaspoon VANILLA EXTRACT
5 large EGGS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a mixing bowl place Jello, sugar, flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder and whisk together. Add oil, orange juice, lime juice, vanilla extract and eggs. Mix until combined. Pour evenly into 3 - 8 inch cake pans that have been buttered and floured. Bake 25 to 30 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool a few minutes then turn out onto a cooling rack. While the cakes are still warm, make glaze.
GLAZE: 1/2 cup LIME JUICE, approximately 4 large limes
1/2 cup Confectioner's Sugar
Whisk together and brush or pour onto cakes while they are still warm. Then allow the cakes to cool completely.
CREAM CHEESE FROSTING:
1/2 cup (1 stick) BUTTER at room temperature
1 - 8 ounce package CREAM CHEESE at room temperature
1 pound box Confectioner's SUGAR
1 teaspoon VANILLA EXTRACT
Cream butter, cream cheese and vanilla with an electric mixer. Mix in confectioner's sugar until smooth. Spread between each layer of cake as you stack them and then frost the sides and top of the cake. Enjoy.
