How To make Orange Dream Cake

CAKE 2/3 c Butter or margarine; soft
1 1/3 c Sugar
2/3 c Fresh orange juice
3 tb Fresh lemon juice
1 ts Orange peel; grate
1 ts Lemon peel; grate
2 Eggs
2 c Cake flour
2 ts Baking powder
1 ts Salt
FROSTING 1 c Flaked coconut
1/4 c Sugar
2 tb Fresh orange juice
1 tb Fresh lemon juice
4 ts Orange peel; grate, divide
1 c Heavy cream; whip
CAKE-In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add juices and peel; mix well (mixture may appear curdled). Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Sift flour with baking powder and salt; add to creamed mixture and mix well. Pour into 2 greased and floured 8" cake pans. Bake at 375~ for 25 to 30 minutes or until cake tests done. Cool in pans for 10 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely. FROSTING-Combine coconut, sugar, juices and 3 ts peel; mix well. Let stand for 10 to 15 minutes or until sugar is dissolved. Fold in whipped cream. Spread between cake layers and over the top. Sprinkle with remaining orange peel. Chill for at least 1 hour. Orange dream cake 
This is a nice and easy cake for the holidays. It’s delicious and moist with a great orange flavor.
Here are the ingredients you will need.
3 cups all purpose, flour
Five large egg
2 cups sugar,
1 tablespoon vanilla extract 
1 tablespoon. Orange extract
2 tablespoons orange zest,
1 1/2 cups butter
One can of Sunkist soda
Glaze ingredient,
2 cups powdered sugar,
1 teaspoon orange extract
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 teaspoons milk,
Instructions, 
Grease and flour your Bundt cake pan. Preheat oven to 350° in a mixing bowl, cream together, butter, sugar, vanilla extract, orange extract, and orange zest. Mix until well combined. Mix about 4 to 5 minutes. Make sure to scrape down your bowl. Add in one egg at a time. Make sure to mix thoroughly before adding in the next egg. In a separate bowl, mix in flour, and salt. Now add your dry ingredients to your butter mixture. Make sure to alternate soda, and flour. Mix until almost combined. Finish off batter with a silicone spatula. Pour batter into your Bundt cake pan. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes. Remove cake from oven  and allow to cool off for 15 minutes. Remove cake from pan and allow to cool completely.
Glaze instructions.
In a bowl, add in powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and orange extract, and milk. Add milk a little at a time until you get the consistency you like. Pour glaze over the cake and allow to sit.

Ingredients for the cake in grams:
- 110 gr Softened Butter
- 40 gr Coconut Oil
- 160 gr Sugar
- Zest of 3 Oranges
- 3 Eggs
- 270 gr All Purpose Flour
- 3 tsp Baking Powder
- 120 gr Orange/Lemon yogurt
- 60 gr Milk
- 1/2 tsp Salt
Ingredients for the Curd:
- 3 Whole Eggs
- 2 Egg Yolks
- 80 grams Sugar
- 140 grams Fresh Orange Juice + 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- The zest of 1 big Orange
- 80 grams of Butter
- 15 gr Corn Starch
For this cake you can either make my vanilla buttercream or my mascarpone whipped cream frosting. Both go really nicely with this cake.
