How To make Raisin Breakfast Bars
3/4 c All-purpose flour
3/4 c Toasted wheat germ
1/4 c Sugar
1/2 ts Baking powder
1/2 ts Cinnamon
1/4 c Margarine, melted
1/4 c Honey
1 Egg
1/2 ts Vanilla
1 c Raisins
1/2 c Chopped walnuts
Combine flour, wheat germ, sugar, baking powder, and cinnamon. Stir in margarine, honey, egg and vanilla; mix well. Stir in raisins and walnuts. Press mixture firmly into a greased 8- inch square pan. Bake at 350 F for 20 to 25 minutes or until lightly browned. Makes 10 bars.

1 cup raisins
½ cup water
¼ cup granulated white sugar
1½ cups quick-cooking oats
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup packed brown sugar
½ teaspoon baking soda

1 large egg white, room temperature

0:06 Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
0:09 In a large bowl, mix oats, flour, brown sugar, baking soda, and salt; stir in melted butter and egg white.
0:29 Put the raisins, water, and sugar in a pot. Bring to a boil while stirring constantly then reduce the heat. Simmer for 5 minutes while stirring constantly until thickened.

RECIPE | Oatmeal Raisin Breakfast Bars
This is a great recipe for those picky eaters out there. It is healthy but so yummy the kids will think they are getting a treat. My son thinks these are dessert. Also they take just a few minutes to make as all you do is throw a bunch of ingredients into the food processor. As you can see in the video, a 4 year old can make them!
No-Bake Oatmeal Raisin Bars.
What you need:
1 CUP ROLLED OATS
1/2 CUP RAISINS
1/2 CUP DATES
1/2 CUP COCONUT SHAVINGS
1 TEASPOON CINNAMON
1 TEASPOON VANILLA
1/4 CUP PEANUT BUTTER
1/4 TEASPOON SEA SALT
1 TABLESPOON WATER (IF NEEDED)
Add ingredients into a food prcessor and blend. You may need to add water if it is too dry. Empty mixtrure onto a clean surface and form into a square. Wrap in foil or plastic wrap an refrigerate for at least 30 minutes until firm. Slice into squares.
