How To make Sausage Centered Hamburger Rolls
1 1/2 lb Ground Beef
1 c Apple; Finely Chopped, *
1/3 c Green Onion/tops; Chopped
1 ea Egg; Large
1 t Salt
1/4 t Cinnamon
1 ds Cloves; Ground
8 oz Brown And Serve Sausage; **
2 T Flour; Unbleached
1 t Instant Beef Bouillon
1 c Water
* Apple should be cored but not peeled. ** Use 1 8-oz package of brown and serve sausage links. ~------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mix the meat, apple, onion, egg and seasonings together. Divide the mixture into 10 equal parts. Mold each part around a sausage link, sealing the ends. Brown the meat rolls in a large skillet over medium heat. Remove the meat rolls. Pour all but 2 Tbls of the fat from the skillet. Stir the flour into the remaining fat. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture is thick and bubbly. Stir in the bouillon and water. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly and then reduce the heat. Return the meat rolls to the skillet; cover and simmer for about 15 minutes. NOTE: Buttered noodles are a good "go-with" for this zesty dish.

Soft Butter Dinner Rolls for The Holidays ~ The Kneady Homesteader
Here is the recipe written in a very simple form:
My Soft Butter Roll Recipe!
In your mixer add:
1 1/2 cups warm water
2 tsp instant yeast
3 tbls sugar
Then in this order add:
3 cups bread flour
1/4 cup dry milk powder
1/4 cup potato flakes
4 tbls soft butter
1 1/4 tsp salt
1 egg
Mix to form a dough ball. Add more flour if you need to. Then knead 5-7 min.
Rise 1 hour
Roll out and shape roll balls.
Rise 1 hour
Bake 350 for 25-30 min.
Then butter the tops of the rolls when they come out of the over for extra soft butteriness! ????????????

I love sausage rolls rolls but I don't like the high fat content. With this recipe you'll get 12 - 15 sausage rolls each with under 8 grams of fat. We have reduced the sausage meat by two thirds and increased the fibre by adding spinach and mashed black beans. The by adding some Moroccan seasoning, onion and crumbled feta cheese, we've put some serious flavour in these rolls. Oh, and best of all, you can cook them in the air fryer. What are you waiting for, let's get cooking.......
200 grams sausage meat
200 grams mashed up drained black beans
1 cup leftover mashed potato
2 handfuls chopped baby spinach leaves
25 grams feta cheese
3 tsp Moroccan seasoning
3 tbsp panko breadcrumbs
1 small onion chopped very finely
1 and 1/2 sheets flakey puff pastry
1 egg whisked
Sesame seeds to garnish prior to cooking
Salt and Pepper

Vegan Sausage With Green Peppers and Onions(made 2 ways)
This is a great way to make a meal that is so easy to make and not only tasted great but is loaded with protein and is low in fat and cholesterol!
the recipe-
Ingredients:
The Best Vegan Homemade Sandwich Rolls(
1 package of vegan Italian sausage
1 medium size red onion sliced thin
2 medium green bell peppers removing seeds and membrane and sliced thin
olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
1-2 cup of cooked white or brown rice (enough to serve two to four people)
Directions:
In a medium pan, add 1 tablespoons of olive oil. Add in sliced onions, sprinkle with a small amount of sea salt, and cook until caramelized. Remove onions into a medium sized Bowl and set aside. Next add about a teaspoon more oil to the pan and sautee the green bell peppers until soft and slightly browned. When the peppers are completely cooked and browned, add them to the bowl with the onions. Next, remove sausages from casing. Cut each sausage in half. Add another teaspoon of oil to pan. Brown the sausages on all sides (do not overcook). When sausages are browned on all sides, add the vegetables back into the pan marrying the flavors of the vegetables and sausages. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
To create sandwich:
Cut sandwich roll in half. Spread vegan mayo to each side. Cut the sausage in half lengthwise. Lay flat side on the bottom section of the roll. Add a heaping amount of green peppers and onions on top of the sausage. Next add vegan mozzarella to the top of the roll. place both on a parchment lined baking sheet and and bake on broil for a couple minutes making sure not to burn but brown the cheese slightly.
To make the rice dish:
Spoon out rice on a plate, add sausages and vegetables on top. Top with vegan mozzarella (optional).
