Hello! In this video, we'll be preparing delicious homemade beef burgers with a flavorful twist. These juicy burgers are made with a seasoned ground beef patty, topped with melted white cheese, fresh tomato slices, and assembled on homemade sesame seed buns. Let's get started!
Ingredients:
1 pound (450g) ground beef
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
4 slices of white cheese (such as American or cheddar)
4 burger buns with sesame seeds
Butter, for brushing
Mayo and ketchup, for sauce
Tomato slices
Lettuce leaves
In this recipe, we'll begin by preparing the beef patties. We'll combine ground beef, minced garlic, chopped onion, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder in a mixing bowl. Mixing the ingredients thoroughly with our hands ensures even distribution of flavors.
Next, we'll shape the meat mixture into four evenly-sized patties, about 1/2-inch (1.3cm) thick. Creating a slight indentation in the center of each patty helps them cook more evenly.
Now, it's time to cook the patties. We'll preheat a pan or grill over medium-high heat and cook each patty for approximately 4-5 minutes on each side. Once they are cooked through, we'll top each patty with shredded white cheese, a slice of tomato, and more shredded cheese. Covering the pan or grill for a minute allows the cheese to melt into a creamy, gooey goodness.
While the patties are cooking, we'll move on to the burger buns. To add a delightful touch, we'll brush the cut sides of the upper bun with butter and sprinkle sesame seeds over the buttered surface. These buns will then go into a preheated oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius) for about 5 minutes, or until the seeds are toasted and the buns are warmed through.
Once everything is ready, it's time to assemble the burgers. We'll start by spreading a delicious combination of mayo and ketchup sauce on the bottom half of each bun. Then, we'll place a fresh lettuce leaf on top of the sauce, followed by a mouthwatering patty with melted cheese. For an extra touch, you can add additional cheese if desired. Finally, we'll complete the burger by placing the upper bun with the beautifully toasted sesame seeds.
