1 1/2 lb White fish fillets (sole,
-whiting, cod, monkfish) Salt to taste 1 ts Ground cumin
Vegetable oil for -deep-frying 1/2 ts Ground coriander
3 Garlic cloves, crushed
1 ts Ground anise seeds
1/2 ts Chile powder
1 tb Lemon juice
Lettuce leaves Sliced radishes Remove any skin and bones from fish, rinse and pat dry with paper towels. Cut into large chunks. Mix together cumin, coriander, ground anise, chile powder, garlic, lemon juice and salt, blending to a smooth paste. Spread over fish, cover and refrigerate 1 hour. Half-fill a deep pan or deep-fryer with oil and heat to 350 F. (175C) or until a 1-inch bread cube browns in 50 seconds. Cook fish, a few pieces at a time, 2 to 3 minutes, until golden brown. 1/2 Tsp Black Pepper Powder
1/2 Cup Water
For Garlic Fish:
14 Piece Fish (Any white fish, haddock or whiting)
2 Egg whites
1 Tsp Crushed Chilli
1 Tsp Carom Seeds
1/2 Tsp Black Pepper Powder
2 Tsp Garlic Ginger Paste
Salt to taste
1 and 1/2 Cup Self Raising Flour
1/2 Tsp Turmeric Powder
1 Tsp Lemon Juice zest
Small bunch Mint leaves
1 whole cup of breadcrumbs

Authentic Thai Recipe for Fried Fish with Sweet Chili and Garlic Sauce | Plah Tub Tim Rad Prik
This crispy pan-fried fish has a sweet and spicy sauce made with lots of hot chili and garlic. Known as Plah Tub Tim Rad Prik (ปลาทับทิมราดพริก), it is a very popular dish in Thailand that is often ordered as part of a large family-style meal for special occasions. Most Thais would not make it at home, as it can be a little messy to cook, but it is really quite easy to do. The fish we used here is the Nile Talapia, which is known in Thailand as Tub Tim. It is a farm-raised freshwater fish that fries up nicely and has solid juicy meat. You can do this recipe with any kind of fish that you would normally fry, such as Bass, Bluegill, Crappie, or other perch-type fish. The sauce is simple. It's just sugar, hot and mild chilies, garlic, and fish sauce.
Ingredient List:
1 large Nile Tilapia (or other perch type fish)
1 Thai Long Chili (or other mild red chili)
2 Thai Hot Chili
4 - 5 large cloves Garlic
2 Tablespoons Coconut Sugar
2 Tablespoons Fish Sauce
1 Cup Vegetable Oil (more or less, depending on your pan)
2 Tablespoons All purpose flour
Directions:
1: Coat the fish in flour and fry it in deep oil over medium heat for about 5 minutes on each side, then remove it to a wire rack to drain the oil.
2: Pour the oil from the pan, leaving just a little to coat the pan, then add the chilies, garlic, sugar, and fish sauce. Fry until it make a rich and sticky sauce.
3: Arrange the fish on a nice plate, then pour the sauce over it. Serve with steamed rice and other foods for a complete meal.

This Garlic Pepper Fish Recipe is extremely delicious. Once all the prep is done it hardly takes much time to bring everything together. it tastes best the day it is made but even leftovers taste great.
Ingredients Required For Making Garlic Pepper Fish - Serves 6
For marination -
* 425 gm/ 1lb boneless skinless tilapia fillets. You can use cod/halibut/basa/bhetki or any white firm fish.
* 2 teaspoons fresh lime/lemon juice
* 1 heaped teaspoons of crushed ginger garlic green chilli
* 1/4 th teaspoon salt
* 4 to 5 tablespoons cornstarch(cornflour). You may need more or less
* 2 tablespoons plain flour
* 2 eggs. You can use 1 tablespoon baking powder if allergic to eggs. In that case use cold chilled water to bring everything together. Add water little at a time.
For the sauce -
* 1 tablespoons regular soy sauce/light soy sauce
* 1 tablespoons dark soy sauce or 2 more teaspoons of regular soy sauce.
* 1 tablespoon mushroom sauce/oyster sauce
* 1 tablespoon sweet chilli sauce. You can also use honey mixed with 1/8 th teaspoon chilli flakes.
* 1 tablespoon hot sauce/ 2 teaspoons red chilli sauce/green chilli sauce
* 2 tablespoons tomato ketchup/ 1 tablespoon tomato paste
* 1 teaspoon sugar
* 1/2 cup water
* 1 teaspoon sesame oil
For cornstarch slurry -
* 1 & 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch (cornflour)
* 3 tablespoons regular room temperature water
For spice powder -
* I/2 inch length cinnamon stick
* 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
* 2 to 3 small petals of star anise
* 2 cloves (optional)
For the rest of the recipe -
* 25 gm/ 1 oz/ 10 large garlic cloves
* 20 gm/ 0.7 oz/ one inch length ginger
* 1 green chilli (optional)
* 1/2 teaspoon black peppercorns (use less if you want less spicy)
* 450 gm/ 16 oz bell peppers(capsicum). I used bell peppers of different colors. You can also use any one color and less of bell peppers
* 220 gm/ 8 oz / 1 large/ 2 medium to large onions. Chop half finely and use other half for cutting into quarters and peeling them off like petals.
* freshly cracked black pepper
* salt as per taste
* oil for frying fish + 2 tablespoons oil
* 2 green chillies (optional)
* chopped fresh coriander leaves/green onions for garnish
Serve it with hot steamed rice/noodles/pasta
