3/4 c Uncooked Short Grain Rice
1 1/2 c Water
4 Dried Shiitake Mushrooms
1/2 c Hot Water
1 lb Lean, Boneless Pork
1 Egg
2 Green Onions Chopped
1/4 c Chopped Water Chestnuts
1 ts Cornstarch
1 ts Minced Gingerrot
1/4 ts Salt
1/4 ts Pepper
2 ts Low Sodium Soy Sauce
Combine Uncooked Rice & 1 1/2 C. Cold Water. Let Stand 2 Hours. Drain Rice & Place On Paper Towels To Dry.Combine Mushrooms & 1/2 C. Hot Water; Let Stand 15 Min. Remove & Discard Mushroom Stems; Set Aside Caps. Trim Excess Fat From Pork. With Knife Blade Process Pork 1 Min. OR Until Finely Chopped. Add Reserved Mushrooms, Egg & Remaining Ingredients; Process 45 Sec. OR Until Well Blended. Shape Pork Mixture Into 16 (1 in.) Balls. Roll Each Ball in Reserved Rice. Arrange Balls in A 10 X 6 X 2 in. Baking Pan; Place Dish On A Rack in A Roasting Pan. Pour Water in Roasting Pan To The Depth Of 1 in. Bring To A Boil. Cover Roasting Pan.Reduce Heat To Medium & Steam 20 Min. Serve Immediately.

EASY Tapioca Steamed Red Bean Cakes (曬米果 Sie Mie Go)
Hello Everyone!
(makes about 9 steamed cakes)
½ cup small sago pearls
1 tbsp oil
3 tbsp sugar (more if you like it sweeter)
(filling: red bean, black sesame, lotus seed paste)
1. Soak the sago pearls for at least 1 hour, maximum 2 hours.
2. Place a large pot of water to boil.
3. Drain the pearls then mix in sugar and oil.
4. Spoon 1 tbsp of the mixture into a bowl, then add 1 ½ tsp. of your choice of paste, then another spoon of the pearls to cover the paste. Smooth out the cake with the back of a spoon.
5. Steam on high heat for 20 minutes until pearls are translucent.
6. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before removing using a knife or spoon.
7. Enjoy fresh and warm!

Ingredients
Ground pork

Pearl Meatballs - Steamed Shrimp & Pork Meatballs with Sticky Rice
Pearl Meatballs is a very classic Chinese Dish, tasty and easy to make at home~♪٩(✿′ᗜ‵ ✿)۶♪
This is a recipe from my mom, haven't seen her for a long time(quite miss her(˃̣̣̥^˂̣̣̥`)), so I decided to make this dish for my dinner...
Ingredient:
7 Shrimps
250g Ground Pork
1 Egg White
Some Ginger & Green Onion
Some Sweet Rice
1tbsp Soy Sauce
1tsp Sesame Oil
1tbsp Shaoxing Wine
1tbsp Oyster Sauce
Some Salt & White Pepper
How to:
Soak the sweet rice in water for 30mins
Soak sliced ginger and green onion in water (we will use the water later)
Cut the shrimp tail off and save for later
Chop the shrimp meat into paste
Mix the shrimp paste with ground pork
Add in soy sauce, shaoxing wine, sesame oil, oyster sauce, egg white, salt&pepper
Mix everything together
Add in the ginger&onion water in 3 parts slowly (don't add to much)
Mix well everything until it become a bit sticky
Make a meatball and let it roll on the drained sweet rice to get covered
Put all the meatballs on the plate (you can use sliced carrot to hold them)
Use chopstick to poke a hole on top of the meatballs
Insert the shrimp tails into the hole
Steam for 15-20 mins
