How To make Swedish Chocolate Cake
1 c Shortening
1 1/2 c Sugar
3 Eggs
2 oz Baking chocolate
-(unsweetened), melted 2 c Cake flour
2 t Baking powder
1 t Salt
1/4 t Baking soda
1 c Cream, heavy
2 t Vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Butter a Bundt pan and sprinkle with about 2 T dry bread crumbs, until it is well-coated. This makes a much better
crust than flour does. In a large bowl, add the sugar to the shortening and cream well. Blend in the eggs, one at a time, and beat well. Stir in the melted chocolate. Sift together the dry ingredients. Combine the cream and vanilla extract. Add to the chocolate mixture alternately with the dry ingredients, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Pour the batter into the pan and bake for 50-60 minutes. Cool the cake in the pan a few minutes before removing. NOTES: * A rich chocolate Bundt cake -- I got this recipe from my mom, who got it from an American book called Swedish Baking. I like to make this because it does not need to be frosted, which makes it an easy dessert. Yield: one Bundt cake. * This is not an authentic Swedish recipe because their flour is different enough to cause problems in baking. INGREDIENTS:
200 grams (7-ounces or 1 3/4 sticks) butter, plus extra to grease
Breadcrumbs, to coat
200 grams (7-ounces) dark (semisweet) chocolate, broken into small pieces
4 eggs
250 grams (9-ounces or 1 1/4 cups) sugar
40 grams (1 1/2-ounces or 1/3 cup) weak (soft) wheat flour

Easy Swedish Chocolate Mud Cake - Kladdkaka

I thought it was about time for a new recipe for Swedish Kladdkaka, aka Sticky chocolate cake or mud cake. I made a recipe in 2014 that is still a favorite ( so really there is no need for improvement, but I thought I'd add a super simple on to my repertoire. This one requires only butter, eggs, sugar, flour, cocoa powder and salt. Ingredients that most people who love to bake most likely have at home. You don't NEED fresh berries and whipped cream for serving, but I definitely encourage it. Prep time is about 15 minutes and then only 15-18 minutes bake time (yes, that is correct!). And then time to cool of course!
I'm using salted butter for this recipe but you can use unsalted too and just add a couple of pinches extra of salt.
If you don't have a 18 cm springform pan you can still bake it, of course! Make sure to adjust the baking time accordingly, for a bigger springform pan I would bake it around 10-14 minutes.

Here is what you'll need!
Swedish Sticky Chocolate Cake (Kladdkaka )
INGREDIENTS
1⅓ cup sugar
2 eggs
½ cup flour
¼ cup cocoa powder
Pinch of salt
½ cup butter, melted
1 tablespoon vanilla
Butter
Cocoa powder
Powdered sugar
Berries (optional)
PREPARATION
Preheat the oven to 350°F/180°C.
In a medium bowl, whisk the sugar and eggs until the mixture is pale yellow in color.
Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
Fold until incorporated.
Mix in the butter and vanilla.
Grease a pan with butter and sprinkle cocoa powder to coat.
Pour in batter and smooth out. Batter will be very thick.
Bake for 20 minutes or until the top has hardened. The center should still be soft.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Enjoy with berries or alone!

- 3 butir telur
- 250 gr gula pasir
- ½ sdt emulsifier (sp/tbm/ovalet)
*skip emulsifier jika ingin hasilnya fudgy dan chewy
- ¼ sdt garam
- 90 gr tepung terigu
- 45 gr coklat bubuk (pakai bubuk coklat kualitas bagus, saya pakai bendico cocoa powder)
- ½ sdt vanila
- 175 gr margarin
Toping:
- 100 gr selai coklat/secukupnya (saya pakai nutella)
