Homemade Almond Paste best recipe & easy to make
Homemade Almond Paste Made in the food processor So easy and inexpensive to make you will save lots of money this holiday season! Much better than store bought
Ingredients
1 Large Egg white at room temperature 1/2 tsp Almond extract 1 1/2 cup Almond flour 3/4 cup Powdered sugar (if you don't have powdered sugar on hand place regular sugar in the food processor and pulse it until it becomes powder!)
This is the easiest recipe you will ever make. Just add the almond flour, powdered sugar into the bowl of the food processor and pulse a few times to incorporate both ingredients, now add your egg white and almond extract. Mix for a couple of minutes until it forms a paste. Once that is done remove and roll into a log shape. Wrap with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator for at least 30 to 40 minutes! Now your ready to bake and your almond paste is fresh and will not have those flakes or lumps like store bought.
