4 c Apple juice (takes about 3
-pounds apples and 3 cups -water) 2 tb Strained lemon juice, if
-desired 3 c Sugar
To prepare juice: Select about one-fourth firm-ripe and three-fourths fully ripe tart apples. Sort, wash, and remove stem and blossom ends; do not pare or core. Cut apples into small pieces. Add water, cover and bring to boil on high heat. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes, or until apples are soft. Extract juice. To make jelly: Measure apple juice into a kettle. Add lemon juice and sugar nd stir well. Boil over high heat to 8 degrees above the boiling point of water, or until jelly mixture sheets from a spoon. Remove from heat, skim off foam quickly. Fall means apple season and that' s when you get the best apples to make this easy apple jelly. Tru to use green granny smith because these apples contain more natural pectins which help in preserving your jelly. I do not add artificial ingredients to this jelly, all-natural with only fruit water and sugar. This is a french apple jelly recipe that my family has been making for generations. We pride on a perfect apple jelly at home.

2.2 pounds Apples 6-7 apples with skin
1 Lemon Juice
6 ⅓ cups Water
Sugar same amount as water after cooking and straining apples *see Notes

How to make apple jelly from all natural apple juice.
Apple Jam! Just two ingredients,no pectin!Russian Povidlo
Although it takes two days to make this jam, but good thing about it that it only takes two ingredients to make it: apples and sugar.
No pectin,no citric acid, no preservatives.
I used 3lb(1.4kg) to 2.2lb(1kg)sugar
Ratio is simple: 100% apples to 70-75% sugar. You can control the sugar depending on the sweetness of your apples, but don't add less than 70% or your jam will not set.
Day 1:
Core,peel and slice apples into small pieces.
Place them in the pot, add 50ml of water and steam them on medium heat with lid closed for 45 minutes(more or less )
You apples have to get soft so we can blend them.
Using hand blender, blend them into a smooth puree.
Add sugar and mix.
Cook on medium heat for 1 hour,constantly stirring.
Take off the heat and leave overnight to cool down(cover).
Day 2:
Cook your jam for additional 30 minutes.
You can check if it's ready by placing a drop of jam on the plate and letting it cool. It should not spread and stay put!
Your jam is ready!
Pour it into Mason Jar and refrigerate.
You can use this jam to make jam filled pirozhki or simply spread it on the toast in the morning!
