Place pan over high heat; bring to boil, stirring continuously; at once, stir in liquid fruit pectin; bring to a full rolling boil; boil hard for 1 minutes, stirring continuously; remove kettle from heat. Skim off foam with a metal spoon; pour quickly into hot sterilized jars, leaving 1/2 inch head space; seal with melted paraffin wax; cover with clean lids. Making Strawberry Jelly
I wanted to do a quick video while making strawberry jelly to show just how easy it is to make your own jelly. All you need is about 8 cups of fresh strawberries topped and cut up, then cover with water in sauce pan and down down for about 30-45 min. Let juice and fruit cook then strain the pulp to create a rich juice. For the jelly all you need is 4 cups of juice, 4 cups of sugar and 1 box of fruit pectin (add 1/2 tsp of butter to help reduce foaming).
