Easy QUICK! Bacon Appetizers
Bacon Appies! Need I say more? Incredibly easy and fast these bacon appies are a great go to when you have a last minute event or are just looking for a quick savoury snack.
Bacon Wrapped Olives
Bacon
Olives
Toothpicks
Cut the bacon in half. Wrap around olives and secure ends with a toothpick.
Place on a cookie sheet, I also recommend placing a baking rack on top to keep the appies elevated. Place on the top rack and broil until the bacon is done, you are going to want to watch these as they cook quickly and then flipped them over when the top was done, and continued to cook until the bottom was done.
Bacon Wrapped Dressing
Bacon
Creamy Salad Dressing of your choice. I suggest blue cheese, ranch or Caesar salad dressing.
Cut the bacon in half. squeeze a small portion of dressing along the bacon. Roll into a tube and secure with a toothpick. Place on the top rack and broil until the bacon is done, you are going to want to watch these as they cook quickly and then flipped them over when the top was done, and continued to cook until the bottom was done.
Shana's Tips:
Why not make it a bacon themed party. You can also wrap raw scallops, fresh pineapple chunks (one of my favourites) and asparagus. Cook the same as above and enjoy. I also enjoyed a little blue cheese dressing in the bacon wrapped olives. YUM!

Ingredients
1 Tbsp (15 mL) extra virgin olive oil
1 medium onion, finely diced
1 stalk celery, finely diced
1 lb (450 g) uncooked sausages (I like Bratwurst or an Italian-style sausage)
2 large eggs
1 cup (130 g) dry breadcrumbs
1/2 cup (70 g) dried cranberries
1⁄3 cup (50 g) coarsely chopped shelled pistachios
1/4 cup (60 mL) maple syrup
2 Tbsp (30 mL) chopped Italian parsley
1 1/2 tsp celery salt
12 strips bacon
Directions
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease and line the bottom and sides of an 8-inch (20 cm) square pan with parchment.
2. Heat a small sauté pan over medium heat and add the oil, followed by the onions and celery. Sauté until the onions are translucent, about 5 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat and allow the vegetables to cool.
3. Meanwhile, cut open the sausage casings (or buy sausage meat with- out the casings) and place the meat in a large mixing bowl. Discard the casings.
4. Add the eggs, breadcrumbs, cranberries, pistachios, maple syrup, parsley and celery salt and mix well to combine—your hands will make fast work of this task, but you can also use a spoon. Add the cooled onions and celery and mix in well. Spoon into the prepared pan, pressing down to level the mix.
5. Arrange the bacon slices over the sausage, covering it completely. I like to make a bacon weave to top the sausage squares
6. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, until the bacon has browned and the meat registers 165°F (74°C) on a thermometer. Let cool in the pan on a wire rack to room temperature.
7. Chill for 2 hours (or up to 2 days) before slicing into squares (they slice much better chilled than at room temperature). Before serving, preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C). Arrange the squares on a parchment-lined baking tray, bacon side down, and warm in the oven for about 10 minutes; the bacon will crisp up. Serve hot or at room temperature.

Cheddar Bacon Potato Appetizers | Episode 12
Guys! Are you having a party, get together, meeting, or just want to indulge in a tasty appetizer? These are the appetizers to make!
Cheese?Bacon? in one delicious full of flavor baked potatoes oh and baked twice? I've died and gone to potato heaven with these babes!
Ingredients:
-Small Russet Potatoes (baby red or gold)
-Chopped bacon
-Cheddar Cheese (Shredded)
-Butter
-Sour Cream
-Whole Milk
-Extra Virgin Olive Oil
-Chives (dried or fresh) you can also substitute for Scallions or Green Onions.
-Salt
-Black Pepper
Notes: If you are doing the appetizer version, bake them at 425 F for 43-45 minutes. If you are unsure of it's doneness, stick a knife and if it goes through without any hesitation it is cooked throughly. If you are doing a regular sized version, bake at same temperature for about 1 hour and 15-20 minutes. It is important to make sure your potatoes are cooked all the way, you will be scooping them out and they must be soft. If you are making the appetizer size, after you cook your chopped bacon, the pieces will remain a little big for the small potatoes so I crumbled them once I cooked and drained them to make the pieces of the bacon smaller in order to fit in the small potatoes.

#appetizers #bacon #steak Bacon Wrapped Steak & Bleu Bites!
Hi guys! Thank you for being here! Today we have suepr fun bacon wrapped steak & bleu bites! Lots of flavor for your mouth!

Bacon Wrapped Steak & Bleu Bites:
Thick steak to cut into bite size pieces-I used tri tip
1 package thick bacon, cut in half
1 package bleu cheese
1/2 cup orange juice
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1 tblsp olive oil
2 sprigs fresh rosemary
Take cut steak pieces and place in gallon ziplock bag and pour orange juice & balsamic vinegar over them. Add sprigs of rosemary and marinate in fridge for at least one hour.
Seasoning:
3 tblsp brown sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 heaping tsp sage
Once meat has marinated, take out pieces and place in bowl, discard marinade.
Take a piece of bacon and wrap around steak bite with seam side down. Once they are all wrapped, dip bottoms into seasoning and then sprinkle more on top. (I was stingy with the seasoning and you could definitely add more to each bite...I'd even say to roll each steak piece in it then wrap with bacon!)
Bake in 425° oven for 22 to 25 minutes depending on oven. I had to bake mine for 31 minutes because my oven is horrible but it shouldn't take that long.
Take them out once they are done and place a small piece of bleu cheese on top and put toothpick through the middle. (This is more for people being able to pick it up easier)
I took some honey and balsamic vinegar (about 2 tblsp honey to 1 tblsp balsamic vinegar) and mixed it and placed on the bottom of my dish and also ended up drizzling some over the pieces for extra flavor!
Enjoy! ????
