How To make Cheese Dill Bread
1 (1-lb) loaf of white bread
- defrosted according to - package directions 1 c Shredded Cheddar cheese
2 tb Chopped fresh dill
Flour; for kneading into - the bread, as needed 1 Egg; mixed with
1 tb Milk or water; for the glaze
1/4 c Shredded Cheddar cheese
- for topping ONCE THE DOUGH IS DEFROSTED, knead it along with the cheese and dill on a lightly floured work space. Knead until well mixed, adding small amounts of flour, as needed, to keep the dough from sticking. Form into a log about 9 inches long. Put log on a cookie sheet lined with parchment or lightly greased. Cover with a towel and allow it to rise in a draft-free place until doubled in size, about 25 to 30 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 375F. Place the pan on middle rack of oven and bake for about 20 minutes,
or until lightly golden. Brush the top with the glaze and sprinkle on the remaining cheese, then return the bread to the oven for 5 minutes until the cheese is melted, and the bread sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom. Remove the bread from the oven, and let it cool on a rack before slicing it. Makes 1 Loaf

Dill Lemon Cheese Bread | Pogaca | Cheese Filled Bread | Turkish Bread
This is a Dill Lemon and Cheese Bread which is my version of Pogaca. This soft cheese filled bread is a super filling turkish style bread.
Bread and cheese are match made in heaven and this cheese bread is no less. This is a stuffed bread where we use cheese as stuffing, so you have the liberty to use any cheese of your choice here. This Dill and Lemon bread has a mild favour of dill and lemon and not something that would throw you off. It looks like a bun but the taste and method of making si slightly different, check the whole recipe to see how. In the Turkish cuisine bread is a staple and it has some of the nicest breads in the world. This not an authentic turkish pogaca recipe, it'sour version of pogaca, we hope you will like it.

Bake in a pre heated oven at 350 degrees for 17 minutes

My mother-in-law used to make this Dill Bread and we loved it! Hope you all enjoy it, too!!
Recipe:
3 c flour
1 tbsp sugar
2 tsp dried minced onion
2 tsp dried dill weed
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 envelopes dry yeast
1 cup cottage cheese
3/4 cup water
1 egg
Combine 1 1/2 c flour, sugar, onion, dillweed, baking soda, salt and yeast in a large mixing bowl. Heat cottage cheese and water in a saucepan over low heat (don't boil, but warm to about 110 F). Add the warmed cottage cheese and water to the dry ingredients. Add egg and stir well (can use mixer at med speed for 3 mins). Once blended well add in remaining flour gradually. Cover and let stand 15 mins. Grease 1 1/2 qt dish or 5 x 9 loaf pan. Place dough in dish and let rise a little longer until doubled. Bake at 350F for 45-60 mins.
NOTE: If you leave out the egg it's still good! :)

Onion dill bread ????
Ingredients:
40 g Fried Onion
5-8 g dried dill
450 500 g all purpose flour
2 teaspoons active dry yeast
One egg
75 g room temperature cream cheese
1/4 teaspoon salt
225 mL lukewarm water
Method:
1. Mix the yeast and1/4 cup of Luke warm water I let it rest for 10 to 15 minutes until Activated
2. Combine The egg and cream cheese together then add dried dill along with onion and mix well.
3. Sift the flour and mix it with salt. Make a hole in the middle of the flour mixture and put the activated yeast , the egg mixture And the rest of the water into it.
4. Mix the ingredients until they comes together and form a dough That is not stick to your hands anymore.You might Need more flour so feel free to add in (up to 500 g).
5. Need the dough for 10 to 12 minutes until you get a soft dough if you are using a stand mixer feel free to need it for six minutes on low speed.
6. Place the dough in an oiled bowl and Cover it with a plastic wrap And let it rest for one hour in a warm place.
7. After the resting time Shape your dough as desired and rest again for 25 to 30 minutes.
8. Now bake it for 20 to 25 minutes in a preheated oven in the 180°C.
9. Let it cool and enjoy! ????
