Cajun Chicken Hash- easy and quick recipe
Cajun Chicken Hash
Super easy to make. These can be eaten anytime. Put it in between an English muffin, voila a breakfast sandwich. Have it as an appetizer. Make them ahead of time and have it your way. I tried to create a fusion between southern and subcontinental seasonings.
Chicken Hash
Ingredients –
1) 1 large potato peeled
2) 1 lb ground chicken
3) Salt and pepper according to taste ( I used ½ tsp for each)
4) ½ tsp Cajun Seasoning
5) ¼ tsp curry powder
6) ½ cup diced onion
7) 3 tbsp diced red pepper
8) ½ cup scallion
9) 3 tbsp chopped coriander
10) ¼ tsp dried mango powder/amchur
11) ¾ cup shredded cheese
12) 1 egg
13) ¼ cup all purpose flour
14) ½ tbsp hickory flavored liquid smoke (available on amazon)
15) 2 tbsp evoo for frying
Step 1 – Grate the potato
Step 2- Mix everything from ingredients list (2 -14)
Step 3 – Heat oil on low med. heat for frying.
Step 4 – Once oil is heated, form small and thin patties and fry 3-4 mins/side. If the patties are thick, it will take longer to cook and the right amount of crispiness won’t be achieved.
HOMEMADE HASH BROWNS – Extra Crunchy & Easy. Making hash browns. Recipe by Always Yummy!
Thin and soft hash browns with crunchy golden crust are perfect for breakfast or family dinner. Making hash browns in 20 minutes!

✅ Ingredients:
• potato – 14 oz | 400 g
• onion – 2 oz | 50 g
• all-purpose flour – 2 tbsp
• 1 egg
• red chili flakes – ¼ tsp
• ground black pepper – ⅓ tsp
• salt – ⅔ tsp
• vegetable oil – 3 fl oz | 80 ml
✅ You will need:
* 2 bowls
* grater
* pan
* carving board
* cheesecloth or cloth napkin
???? Preparation
1. Peel and shred the potatoes, leave them in a bowl of cold water for 5 minutes.
2. Chop up the onion.
3. Rinse the potatoes in cold water twice, place them in a clean cloth napkin or cheesecloth and squeeze out any excess liquid.
4. Lay the shredded potatoes in a bowl, add chopped onion, spices, flour and an egg, mix well with a fork.
5. Heat a pan over medium heat, take a spoonful of the mixture and form the pancake-like hash browns in the pan, fry them on each side for 4-5 minutes.
6. Serve hash browns hot with ketchup, sour cream and sauces.

This one's perfect for brunch, breakfast or a light dinner too. Indulge in this cheesy, crispy and delicious chicken hash browns! CHICKEN HASH BROWN
Ingredents
1 chicken breast, boiled and shredded
3 medium potatoes, parboiled, peeled and grated
1/3 cup grated processed cheese
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
½ tsp dried mixed herbs
1 tbsp garlic powder
½ tbsp onion powder
Crushed black peppercorns to taste
1 tbsp dijon mustard
Salt to taste
2 eggs
2 tbsps chopped fresh parsley
Olive oil for shallow frying
Mayo to serve
Tomato ketchup to serve
Method
1. Take potatoes in a large bowl, add chicken, processed cheese, cheddar cheese, dried mixed herbs, garlic powder, onion powder, crushed black peppercorns and dijon mustard and mix well.
2. Add salt and mix till well combined. Break in the eggs and mix well.
3. Heat sufficient oil in a non-stick shallow pan. Add a portion of the chicken mixture and lightly spread it to form a disc. Shallow fry tll golden brown and crisp on both sides. Drain on an absorbent paper.
4. Serve hot with mayo and tomato ketchup.
