COCA COLA PORK CHOPS
Coca Cola Porkchop is made by simmering pre fried pork chops in a sauce made with coco-cola, sugar, ketchup, pepper, salt and oil. This mouth-watering dish is made up of tender pork meat coated and flavoured with the caramel goodness from the coca-cola. Serve this dish with a bowl of hot rice and let the meat melt in your mouth! Caution: It’s normal to crave for more!

INGREDIENTS
6 pieces pork chops
1 cup coca-cola
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 cup ketchup
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
½ tablespoon oil
DIRECTIONS
For the sauce, add the coca-cola, brown sugar and ketchup in a large bowl. Mix well until fully-combined and then set aside.
Prepare the pork chops. Season with salt and pepper. Rub and massage the meat using your hands.
Poke the pork chops using a fork.
Heat a pan under medium heat and add some oil. Fry the pork chops for 3 minutes on each side. Transfer to a strainer to drain excess oil.
When all the pork chops are cooked, return them in the pan and then add the sauce. Cover the pan and let it cook for 5 minutes. Flip the pork chop pieces and cook for another 5 minutes. Continue simmering until the sauce thickens and coats the pork chops.
Serve the coca-cola pork chops in a serving plate and serve with hot rice. Enjoy!

Coca-Cola - 500 ml (16.9 fl oz)

mushrooms - 400 g (14 oz)
onion - 1 piece
bacon - 250 g (8.8 oz)
red bell pepper - 1 piece
salt - 5 g (0.18 oz)
black pepper - 3 g (0.11 oz)
oil - 50 ml (⅕ cup)
pressed cheese - 200 g (7 oz)
Tray size 24 X 30 cm (9.45 x 12 in)
