1 Cup Flour
1 Tbsp. Baking Powder
1 Tsp. Baking Soda
1 Tsp. Salt
1 1/2 Cup Buttermilk
2 Eggs
2 Tbsp. Vegetable Oil
2 Tbsp. BBQ Seasoning, optional
1/4 to 1/2 Cup Water to thin batter out as needed
Chicken
Season Chicken with BBQ seasoning, salt, and pepper
4 Chicken Breasts, Boneless and skinless
Peanut oil for frying
Wet Mixture:
2 Cups Buttermilk
1/4 cup Liquid Smoke
1/4 cup BBQ Sauce
2 Eggs
Dry Mixture:
2 Cups Flour
1/4 Cup BBQ Seasoning (to taste)
1 Tbsp. Salt
Hot-Honey Sauce:
1 Cup Butter
1/2 Cup Honey
Hot Sauce to taste

How To Make Cornbread Waffles | Delish
Your favorite Southern bread—no baking required.
DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat waffle iron and preheat oven to 200 degrees F (to keep waffles warm).
2. Meanwhile, whisk together buttermilk, butter, sugar, and eggs. In a separate large bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, baking soda, and salt. Pour wet mixture over dry ingredients and stir using a rubber spatula just until moist.
3. Spray waffle grates with nonstick cooking spray. With a big ice cream scoop, spoon about 1/4 cup batter into waffle iron. Cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 2 to 3 minutes per waffle.
4. Remove from waffle iron, place on baking sheet and keep warm in oven.
5. Mix together honey and softened butter to spread over warm waffles.

6 tbsp. sugar

1 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 c. yellow cornmeal

2 tbsp. softened butter, for serving
1 tsp. honey
