pinto beans, dried

water, cold

salt pork, cut up

beef, chuck steak, 1 inch cubed

teaspoon
red pepper, crushed

each
onions, chopped
2
each
garlic cloves, minced
6
oz
tomato paste
1 1/2
tablespoon
chili powder
1
teaspoon
salt
1
teaspoon
cumin seed
1/2
teaspoon
marjoram leaves
Directions:
Soak beans in water overnight. Brown salt pork in skillet or in the crockpot if you have that type. Combine the soaked beans with water into the crockpot along with the browed salt pork and remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 9-10 hours.

1 chopped yellow or white onion
4-5 garlic cloves, chopped
2 pounds ground chuck
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon kosher salt
½ teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon of sugar
2 teaspoons black pepper
1/2 teaspoon allspice
1 Bell pepper
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 lb bag Dried pinto beans
1 (14.5) can of stewed tomatoes
5-6 cups water or low sodium stock or homemade (make sure beans are covered)
Bay leaf
Salt Pork
Haitian Epis Seasoning (optional) recipe at
Salsa Verde, Sofrito, Chimichurri, Green Seasoning all could be good substitutes for Epis or you can leave it out all together.

Ingredients
½ lb. thick cut bacon, cut into pieces
½ lb. ground beef
1 small onion, diced
2 15oz cans chili beans (do not drain)
1 15oz can kidney beans, drained
1 15oz can black beans, drained
2/3 cup A.1. Sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup HEINZ Ketchup
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/2 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
Instructions
1. Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crisp. Remove bacon from skillet with a slotted spoon and set aside on a paper towel lined plate. Discard all but 2 tbsp of the bacon grease and return skillet to stovetop. Brown the ground beef and onion in the remaining bacon grease until no longer pink and onions are tender, about 5 minutes.

Pinto Beans | Crock Pot Recipes - Thank you for watching yet another Crock Pot meal, Slow Cooker Pinto Beans Recipe. Having and using a Crock Pot in the winter and fall goes hand and hand. So if you're looking for someting that will keep you warm and is big on taste, did I mention EASY, lol? Then you've come to the right channel and video.
The key to be easy is the prep you put in at the begining. Line out all of your ingredients and with a little planning cooking is super simple and easy to follow when watching one of my videos.

Ingredients:
1 Ham Hock
8 cups Water
2 lb Bag of Pinto Beans
1 large Onion
2 medium Bell Peppers
4 Tbsp Minced Garlic
1 Tbsp Cayenne Pepper
1 Tbsp Cumin
Salt and Pepper to taste
1) Rinse Bean and soak over night
2) Drain Beans the rinse them
3) Add Beans, Ham Hock, Bell Pepper, Onion, Garlic, Cumin, Cayenne Pepper, and Water to Crock Pot.
4) Add Salt and Pepper to taste after Beans become tender.
5) Cook on Low 9 - 10 hours or HIGH 5 -6 hours.

How to make pinto beans in a crockpot, DIY PINTO BEANS #meatlessmeal
Ingredients:
2lb bag of pinto beans
half large pepper chopped
small red onion chopped
3 bullion cubes
1 tbsp Brown sugar
1tpn garlic pow
2 tbp crushed garlic
1tpn thyme
1tpn onion pow
1 can of beef broth
1tpn black pepper
add enough water to cover 1 inch over the beans
Once beans have gotten tender after about 5 hours on high add 2tbp of starch to warm water whisk and pour in crockpot to thicken then cook another 20 min and they are ready to eat
