High Protein Delicious Chicken & Rice Halal Cart-Style for Meal Prep!
There’s no reason to be eating plain chicken and rice when you can make this incredibly easy and delicious chicken recipe! Packed with flavor, so filling while being low calorie! Perfect for meal prep too????????????
Macros per serving (total 4)
430 Calories | 41g Protein | 42g Carbs | 11g Fat
Ingredients (for 4 servings)
- 700g Raw Cubed Chicken Breast
- 1 tbps Oregano
- 1 tbsp Cumin
- 1 tbsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Chilli Powder
- 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Olive Oil
- 1/2 Lemon Juice
Cook on high heat for 3-4 mins each side till golden brown
- Shredded Lettuce
- Chopped Tomatoes
- Garnish Coriander (optional)
Garlic Sauce
- 150g Fat Free Greek Yogurt (any yogurt works)
- 50g Light Mayo
- 2 Minced Garlic Cloves
- Chopped Coriander/Cilantro
- 1/2 tsp Cumin, Salt, Pepper
- 1/2 Lemon Juice
You can store this sauce for multiple days in a bottle or container, perfect to prep in batches
Golden Rice
- Basmati Rice (207g uncooked gives about 560g cooked weight | 140g Cooked Rice per serving)
- season with Turmeric, Cumin, Paprika, Garlic, Salt
- Add water then bring to a boil then simmer on low heat for 8-10 mins till fully cooked
Distribute into 4 equal servings and enjoy!

Important notes
- When reheating the meal prep, i would put the sauce and lettuce seperately then heat the rice and chicken in a microwave
- You can store the sauces in little containers in the meal prep box

Low Fat Meal - Cumin Chicken With Potatoes Recipe

In my channel, I will be teaching you guys how to make a variety kinds of food, but mostly Chinese food (since I'm Chinese)
Something I find fascinating about Chinese food is that it is open to all kinds of possibility. It does not follow specific recipes and do not require specific measured amount of ingredients! It is all about your own taste and imagination. After you get good at cooking Chinese food, you will get a sense of how much salt, oil, vinegar etc to put in every time.

Jeera Chicken | Cumin Chicken | Dry Masala Chicken
Ingredients
-Cumin/Jeera- 2 tbsp
-Oil- 5 tbsp
-peppercorns - 6
-Cardamom- 3
-Green Chilli- 2
-Garlic- 1 tbsp chopped
-Ginger - 1 tbsp chopped
-Coriander powder- 1 tsp
-Cumin/jeera powder- 1 tsp
-Chilli powder- 1/2 tsp
-Salt as per taste
-Chicken- 700 gms
-Garam masala- 1/2 tsp
-Fresh Coriander- 1 tbsp
Method
-Heat a pan and roast 1 tbsp of jeera on low heat till slightly brown and keep aside.
-Heat a pan, add oil, once hot, add 1 tbsp of jeera, once it splutters, add peppercorns, cardamom and sauté for 2 mins.
-Add chopped green chillies, garlic and ginger and fry for 2-3 mins
-Add Coriander powder, jeera powder, chilli powder and salt and fry for 2 mins.
-Add chicken pieces and fry well on med- high heat for 5-8 mins and keep stirring.
-Cover and cook for 15 mins
-Add Garam masala and the roasted cumin/jeera seeds and cook for another 5 mins on med flame, fry well till masalas coat the chicken.
-Garnish with fresh coriander and serve as an appetiser or with main course with a serving of raita.

Hello everyone! Today I am sharing my very easy recipe of Jeera chicken
This is very easy and quick to make and tastes amazing with chips (fries), naan, bread or rice! Please do not forget to like this video and comment if you made it and how it tastes! Do not forget to press the bell icon and subscribe!
Ingredients for Jeera chicken
- 1 whole chicken cut into 12 pieces and washed
- 1 teaspoon of garlic paste
- small bowl of oil (4 tablespoons)
- 3 tablespoons of black pepper half crushed
- 3 green chillis crushed
- 3 tablespoons of whole cumin seeds half roasted and half crushed
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of Kashmiri chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon of dhaniya powder
- 2 tablespoons of jeera powder
- 2 tomatoes preblended into a paste
- small bowl of yogurt
- fresh coriander leaves for garnishing
Method:
Get a pot and place on high heat and wait for pot to warm up
- add oil and wait for oil to warm up
- add whole cumin seeds, black pepper and mix
- add garlic paste, tomato paste, yogurt, green chillis
- add salt, Kashmiri chilli powder, jeera powder, dhaniya powder
- cook masala for 7-10 minutes on low flame
- keep checking masala and keep mixing to avoid masala getting burnt
- add chicken and mix well
- leave chicken to cook on medium flame for 20-25 minutes until chicken is cooked and place lid on the pot
- after 20-25 minutes, check if chicken is cooked if cooked turn off the flame and transfer into a serving dish
- garnish with fresh coriander leaves
- enjoy with chips (fries), naan, rice or bread!!
