Diabetes is a major problem in America with just about 1 in every 10 Americans dealing with it. Managing it is a whole different ball game. Not only will you have to stop eating sweet stuff, you have to include healthy food with lots of physical activities.
You know how diabetic friendly food seems to taste bland and is usually boring? Well, not anymore! Eating smart doesn’t always mean giving up on your favorite food. Do you have to give up tacos, meatloaf and brownies? Not on our watch!

Burgers have nothing going for them when it comes to being healthy. They’re deep fried, breaded and contain harmful red meat like beef, pork and lamb.
7. Spaghetti and meatballs
Nothing spells comfort better than a bowl of silky spaghetti with meatballs. There are many delicious ways to make a healthier, diabetic friendly version of this classic italian meal which we all love. You just have to think outside the box.
8. Fried chicken
Fried food in general is heavily breaded, contains saturated fats and is considered to be one of the unhealthiest foods.
9. Pot roast
Pot roast can be referred to as a meat curry with vegetables. Sound healthy? Not really! A typical pot roast contains meat, carrots, potatoes and any vegetables you like.
10. Tomato soup
Masquerading as a healthy food, tomato soup can be rather unhealthy, especially for diabetics. When made correctly tomato soup can be your best friend due to its high antioxidants, vitamins and flavonoids content.
11. Brownies
You heard that right! Your beloved brownies are here to stay. Brownies have too much sugar which is the only marker for developing diabetes.
12. Fish sticks
This fast food is an American favorite especially as a side dish. Every aspect of fish sticks is unwelcome news for diabetics.

Der Brokkoli Blumenkohl Auflauf kocht schnell und einfach. Gemüse im Ofen ist eine sehr gesunde und einfache Mahlzeit. Ich habe Brokkoli mit Blumenkohl noch nie so lecker gegessen. Ein neues Rezept für ein schnelles und leckeres Abendessen! Sie werden diesen Blumenkohl Brokkoli Auflauf jeden Tag machen! Gemüse Garen! 1 Brokkoli.
Brokkoli in kochendes Wasser geben.
Salz.
Milch 2 Esslöffel.
Zum Kochen bringen und 2 Minuten kochen.
Gekochten Brokkoli in eine Auflaufform geben.
Blumenkohl 400 gr.
Blumenkohl in kochendes Wasser geben.
Salz.
Milch 2 Esslöffel.
Zum Kochen bringen und 4 Minuten kochen lassen.
1 Zwiebel.
Olivenöl.
Die Zwiebel bei mittlerer Hitze anbraten.
1 Karotte.
Noch ein paar Minuten braten.
1 Knoblauch.
Pilze.
Pilze hinzufügen.
1 roter Paprika.
1 gelber Paprika.
Gemüse umrühren.
Kirschtomaten.
4 Eier, Salz.
Sonnenblumenöl 5 Esslöffel.
Mehl 130 gr.
Milch 500 ml / 2,5 Tassen.
Petersilie.
Fügen Sie die resultierende Eiermischung hinzu.
Käse 150 gr.
Darüber streuen.
Im vorgeheizten Backofen bei 180°C (350°F) 40 Minuten backen.
Fertig ist leckeres Gemüse!

Breakfast Casserole
Everything you love about breakfast in one easy and delicious casserole. Perfect for Thanksgiving and Christmas morning or whenever you have company over. Pop it in the oven when you get up and you are good to go.

???????????? BREAKFAST CASSEROLE
1 lb bulk sage pork sausage
1 cup green bell pepper, chopped
1 cup red bell pepper, chopped
10 eggs
2 cups whole milk
¼ tsp ground black pepper
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp salt
3 cups frozen country style hash browns
1 cup French’s crispy fried onions
8 oz cheddar cheese
hot sauce, optional
Bake at 350 F or 177 C uncovered for 40 minutes. Then cover with foil and bake 10 more minutes.
*Be sure to let the casserole sit out at least 20-30 minutes before baking because the sudden changes in temperature may cause the dish to shatter or break.

This casserole is so easy to make. In the video I made almost 3 times as much as the normal recipe. One batch would be 3 pounds of meat, total.
1 pound each of any meats you’d like. I used a pound of each, chicken breast, ground beef, and breakfast sausage.
2 bricks of cream cheese
1/2 cup of bacon bits, extra for the top
1 cup of shredded cheese mixed in, extra for the top
These measurements can be changed to suit your tastes. Many people use ham or even pepperoni in this dish. I’ve also used taco meat for a Mexican flavor!
