How to Make Fried Pickles Without Milk ~ Crispy Fried Pickles
How to make deep fried pickles without milk - amazingly easy, crispy and delicious. We like our fried pickles extra crispy and crunchy so here's how we do our fried pickles super crispy.
We love fried pickles, but over the years have been served some really bad ones it seems about half the time. What a bummer it is to look forward to a delicious plate of deep fried pickles... only get a greasy order of soggy limp fried pickles… again... that you know were pre-made frozen.
Well here’s our answer to the soggy fried pickle problem: a deep fried pickle recipe that’s so easy, delicious and crunchy, you’ll never have to east a soggy limp fried pickle again!

Hillbilly Jilly Texas Style Deep Fried Pickles
Ingredients
● Hamburger Dill Pickle Slices – 30 to 40 ounce jar
● I egg beaten
● 1 cup flour
● 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
● 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
● 1/4 teaspoon paprika
● Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
1. Heat 1 inch of oil over medium-high heat to 375°
2. Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl – Except salt and pepper
3. Beat egg
4. Salt and pepper pickles to taste
5. Dip pickle slices in Egg – Flour – Egg – Flour
6. Deep fry just a few minutes until golden brown – Turn once
during frying
7. Remove and place on rack or paper towel
Note: This recipe should be enough to fry up a 30 to 40 ounce jar of hamburger dill slices. Ingredient amounts are flexible, so get creative and add your own favorite spice or seasoning!

INGREDIENTS
1 c. Sliced pickles
1 c. panko bread crumbs
2 tbsp. melted butter
4 tbsp. finely chopped fresh dill
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
Ranch dressing, for dipping
DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 450° and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Pat pickles dry with paper towels.
2. In a medium shallow bowl, mix together panko, butter, dill, garlic powder and cayenne. Season mixture with salt and pepper.
Working in batches, toss pickle coins in flour until lightly coated, then toss pickles in eggs. Dredge the pickles in the panko mixture until fully coated.
3. Place pickles on prepared baking sheet and bake until the coating is golden and crispy, about 15 minutes.
4. Serve warm with ranch dressing.

SPICY FRIED SLICED DILL PICKLE RECIPE
2 cup dill pickles, sliced and well drained
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup milk
1 egg
2 tablespoons hot sauce
1 cup self-rising flour
1/2 teaspoon fresh cracked pepper
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt, optional
2 cup oil for frying
1. In a large mixing bowl with tight fitting lid or plastic/paper bag add all-purpose flour and sliced pickles. Toss until pickles are well coated with flour. Set aside.
2. In a bowl or baking pan add milk, egg and hot sauce. Whisk with fork. Set aside.
3. Add self-rising flour with salt and pepper into container with sides.
4. Remove pickles from flour, gently shake off access flour. Roll coated sliced pickles in egg mixture, then roll in self-rising flour mixture.
5. Preheat oil, in skillet or heavy pan, over medium heat or until oil reaches 360-370 degrees F.
6. Add coated pickles to heated oil, making sure not to over crowd, and fry for 45 seconds on each side or until golden. Remove fried pickles and drain on paper towel or cooling racks.
Recipe for Dipping Sauce
3 tablespoon mayo
1 tablespoon hot sauce
Whisk well. Serve with fry pickles!!
