bratwursts

beer (1 can)

onion, chopped

peppercorns

cloves

hard rolls
Directions:
Place bratwursts, beer, onion, peppercorns, and cloves in a 3 quart saucepan. Simmer for 20 minutes. Drain. Grill bratwursts 2 to 5 inches from charcoal about 10 minutes, until browned. Sprinkle with water to form a crisp skin. Serve in hard rolls with Dusseldorf style mustard.

Grab your beer, slice an onion, and cook up some sausage! It can’t get any easier than this to have a delicious, flavorful snack, lunch, or dinner! To achieve the best flavor, boil them first for 15 minutes and then throw them on your grill (or skillet) for another 4 minutes on each side. @eatcolor

2 beers
5 sausage links
1 sliced onion
Recipe:
In a skillet with a lid: boil beer, sausage and sliced onion for 15 minutes.
Grill (or pan sear) for an additional 4 minutes on each side.
Serve with bread, sauerkraut, potato salad, mustard, horseradish and/or pickles. You can also chop the sausage and add it to a soup, casserole, or stew!
