How To make Gingered Ham Slice
1 Fully cooked center cut ham
-slice, about 1" thick 1/2 c Ginger ale
1/2 c Orange juice
1/4 c Brown sugar
1 tb Vegetable oil
1 1/2 ts Wine vinegar
1 ts Dry mustard
1/4 ts Ground ginger
1/8 ts Ground cloves
Slash fat edge of ham. Whisk briskly the ginger ale, orange juice, brown sugar, vegetable oil, ginger, mustard and cloves. Pour over ham in a shallow dish. Refrigerate at least 2 hours and preferably overnight. Spoon marinade over ham frequently. Brown on grill over medium coals, or broil about 5 inches from the heat for about 15 minutes on each side, brushing frequently with marinade. Ingredients
Makes about 7-8 servings
3 pounds (1.4 kg) boneless cooked ham
Brown Sugar Glaze
1/3 cup (70g) brown sugar
2 tbsp (40g) honey
2 tbsp (30g) Dijon mustard
2 tbsp (30ml) apple cider vinegar
1/2 tsp (1g) freshly ground black pepper
1/4 tsp (1g) cinnamon
1/4 tsp (1g) cloves
pinch of nutmeg
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tbsp (15g) grated ginger
For baking:
1 cup (240ml) hot water

Glazed Pineapple Ham Steak Recipe

Melt 1 TBS butter in a pan. Add ham steak. Cook for 3-4 minutes each side until browned. Brown Pineapple slices.
Remove ham and pineapples from pan and add:
1/4 cup pineapple juice
2 TBS brown sugar
pinch of dry mustard
pinch of ground cloves
Cook until thickened (about 1 minutes)
Add ham slice back to the pan and cook in the glaze for a minute each side.
Remove and add pineapple slices and maraschino cherries.

Orange Ginger Glazed Ham

Serves 8-12
Prep Time: 10 mins | Total Time: 38 mins
INGREDIENTS:
5 lbs Boneless leg ham
1 cup Orange Juice
1 teaspoon Orange zest
1 tablespoon Orange marmalade
1 tablespoon Ginger shredded
½ cup Honey
STEPS:
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
2. Wrap the ham completely in two to three layers of foil
3. Place in a baking dish half filled with water and warm in the oven; 6 minutes per pound
4. In a dish, mix the orange juice, zest, marmalade, ginger and honey together
5. Place mixture in a saucepan and cook to a rich thick glaze
6. Remove the ham from the oven
7. Remove the foil and score lightly the top layer of the ham
8. Pour the glaze over the ham, then place in a 470 degree oven for 8 minutes or until glaze has caramelized
9. Serve
TIPS:
1. Make sure the ham is completely defrosted before warming
2. Boneless fully cooked hams are very easy to dry out do not over cook
3. Make sure the glaze is thick before adding to the ham
4. A 5-pound boneless ham will take about thirty minutes to warm all the way through to the centre
