How To make Hungarian Potato and Egg Casserole
6 Potatoes (approx. 2 lbs)
1 Onion, chopped
2 tb Oil
1 c Sour cream
1 1/2 ts Salt
1/4 ts Pepper
2 Eggs, boiled & sliced
2 tb Dry bread crumbs
Paprika Heat 1 inch salted water (1/2 ts salt to 1 cup water) to boiling. Add potatoes. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat. Cover and cook until tender. Drain and cool slightly. Cook onion in oil until tender. Mix onion, oil, sour cream, salt and pepper. Peel potatoes and cut into 1/4 inch slices. Gently mix potatoes and sour cream mixture. Arange half the potatoes in greased 10x6x1 1/2 inch baking dish or 1 1/2 quart casserole. Arrange eggs on top and add remaining potatoes. Sprinkle with bread crumbs and paprika. Bake, uncovered, at 325 degrees until light brown, 30 to 40 minutes. Garnish with snipped parsley if desired.

Hungarian style layered potatoes - Rakott Krumpli made with eggs, potatoes and sausages. Easy to make and taste delicious.
For one person:
2-3 medium potatoes
2 eggs
1/4 turkey sausage sliced
1/4 Hungarian sausage Gyulaisliced
4 tablespoon sour cream
Bake on 350 F 30 minutes with the lid and 30 minutes without the lid.

Layered Potatoes casserole, Hungarian Style - Rakott Krumpli
Welcome to my channel!
In this video I am making , a layered potato Hungarian style.
This dish is so delicious even if you only use potatoes,boiled eggs and sour cream.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 kg Potatoes (boiled them skin on ) choose about same sized one
8 Eggs for layering (hard boiled) and 2 egg yolks for the sour cream mixture.
20 dkg smoked sausage (any type you like)
2 oz about 6 dgk prosciutto sliced
2 frankfurter sliced
15 dkg smoked bacon chopped
15 dkg good ham (sliced)
50 dkg sour cream
2 Tbsp butter (for the baking pan)
Black pepper
salt
I like my potatoes with extra sour cream on top and with fresh bread.

POTATO SLICED 800 GM
EGG 5
SALT 1 TSP
FOR WHITE SAUCE
BUTTER UNSALTED 50 GM
FLOUR 3TBSP
FULL CREAM MILK 700 ML
SALT TO TASTE
BLACK PEPPER POWDER 1/2 TSP
GRATED MOZZARELLA CHEESE 1/2 CUP + 1/4 CUP TOPPING
EGG 1 FOR TOP
CHILLI FLAKES 1 /2 TSP
PAPRIKA FOR DUSTING ON TOP( OPTIONAL)
BEEF MINCE BOILED ( OPTIONAL) 1/2 CUP
DISH SIZE- 12 INCHES LONG AND 8 INCHES WIDTH ( OVAL SHAPE)
BAKE AT 180DEGREE CELSIUS FOR 30 TO 35 MINS ( PRE HEAT YOUR OVEN)

A simple and tasty recipe!
Ingredients:
Cooked potatoes
Hard boiled eggs
Frankfurters
Chorizo
Smoked bacon
Soured cream
Salt
Optional: butter, semolina
Method:
1. Fry the meat
2. Put layers of potatoes, eggs, meat and soured cream. Optionally you may put some butter at the bottom and semolina on top.
3. Oven cook for about half an hour on 180 Celsius degrees.
