Take your next smash burger to different level. Easy to make Lipton Onion Soup Mix smash burgers are easy to make. Just add the Lipton Onion soup mix to your ground beef and enjoy a delicious burger that will have your family and friends raving about how good these burgers are.
Servings: 1 double meat burger
Shopping List: 1/2 lb. Ground chuck hamburger meat 80/20 2 tbsp. cooking oil 2 tbs. Lipton Onion Soup Mix (1 tbsp. per burger) Salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste Large burger buns Your choice of condiments (mayo, mustard, thousand island dressing) 2 slices American cheese 1/4 cup diced onion 4-5 dill pickle rounds 3 slices tomato Iceberg lettuce
Directions: Pre-heat griddle or skillet over medium high heat. Form hamburger meat into (2) 1/4 lb. patties and add the onion soup mix and salt, pepper and garlic powder. Using a heavy burger press, press down hard and hold for 15-20 seconds until patties are extremely thin. Add the oil to the griddle or skillet and cook the burgers several minutes each side until cooked through to your liking. Top the burgers with the cheese and squirt a little water around them and cover to melt the cheese. Toast the buns then add your favorite condiment, burgers, onions, pickles, tomatoes and lettuce. Serve and enjoy!
