Spaghetti and Meatballs, Your New Favorite Recipe!
Watch the video and let me show you how to make the most delicious spaghetti meatballs you’ve tasted.
This homemade Spaghetti and Meatballs is quite simple to make. No lengthy cooking required, and the sauce is made from scratch.
In contrary to what a lot of people think, Spaghetti and Meatballs is not an Italian dish, but rather an Italian American invention. No matter where it’s from, this recipe will put a smile on your face, and maybe a little sauce too!
Make sure you buy equal quantities of good pork and beef mince. It needs to have a little fat in there, go for around 15-20%.
Enjoy a simple and delicious Spaghetti Meatballs meal.

Ingredients:
For the meatballs:
600g (21.16 oz) minced beef
1 onion
1/3 bunch parsley
1 egg
1/3 cup (42g) dry bread crumbs
2 garlic cloves
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon paprika
For the sauce:
1 large onion
3 garlic cloves
1/2 red chili pepper (optional)
600g (oz) tomato sauce
3 tablespoons tomato sauce
600 ml water
7-8 basil leaves
Salt & pepper for taste*
1 tablespoon sugar?
Directions:
1. Finely chop onion and parsley. Crush garlic cloves. In a large bowl place the beef, chopped onion, parsley, crushed garlic, egg, bread crumbs and seasoning. Mix well with your hands until all combined.
2. Form into balls. In a large pan heat oil over medium heat. Fry the meatballs for about 1 minute for each side until lightly brown and remove from the pan.
3. For the sauce: chop onion, slice garlic cloves, chili pepper and basil.
4. In the same pan sauté onion for 4-5 minutes. Add sliced garlic and chili, sauté for 3-4 minutes more. Add tomato sauce, fill the empty tins of the tomato sauce with water (about 600 ml) and pour into the pan, add tomato paste, basil leaves, season with salt, pepper, paprika and stir.
5. Bring to sauce to a boil, transfer the browned meatballs to the sauce, reduce the heat to low and simmer, covered, for about 30-40 minutes. Serve.

The Juiciest Italian Meatballs In Tomato Sauce
A proper meatball should be juicy, incredibly tender without falling apart, and packed with mouth-watering flavor. That's exactly what you'll get when making my recipe for Italian meatballs in tomato sauce.
This recipe skips the step of pre-hydrating breadcrumbs or stale bread in milk. Instead, I use whole milk ricotta in the meatball mixture. This simple adjustment not only saves time, but it introduces a thicker, creamier ingredient that lends more moisture and flavor to the meatball.
I also skip the traditional step of adding pre-cooked onion and garlic, and instead opt for including a series of dry spices and garlic powder to flavor my meatballs. This speeds up the preparation and provide a really nice, flavorful twist that I think you'll enjoy.

Easy Meatballs Recipe | in a homemade marinara sauce
Who doesn't love a good meatball recipe? This one is baked in the oven for even browning and easy cleanup, then simmered in the best homemade marinara sauce.
Meatballs are a staple recipe in the kitchen. And sometimes classic, Italian-style meatballs simmered in fresh marinara sauce are all I need for a dinner that's simple, comforting, and tastes just like home.
My version of meatballs are meatier with no breadcrumbs or panade, yet still moist and flavorful. That also makes them naturally gluten-free and low-carb. An added bonus!
