How To make Mushrooms Montreal
4 Scallions or spring onions
1/2 c Light or single cream
2 tb Lemon juice
2 tb Parsley, fresh chopped
1 lb Mushrooms, peeled, stem
-trimmed, thinly sliced Salt and black pepper Chop the scallions finely crosswise. Whisk together the cream, lemon juice, and parsley. Lightly but thoroughly mix in the mushrooms and scallions. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Turn into a serving dish and serve at once or leave it in a cool place for a few hours so that the mushrooms can absorb the flavor of the dressing. Serves 4 to 6 This is an easy-to-prepare dish for the quicksilver Gemini that combines the foods of Mercury (parsley and mushrooms) with a creamy coating. Because of their association with death, mushrooms are an appropriate food for the god whose duty was to conduct the souls of the dead to the under- world. Rich in minerals and vitamins, parsley helps relieve nervous conditions (often a Gemini complaint) and soothes the stomach. Serve this delicious starter with a very chilled white wine and thin slices of whole wheat bread and butter.

morrel mushroom stroganoff recipe
Ingredients:
1 bag of egg noodles cooked and strained
1 lb of ground beef
seasoning for the beef: cook separately
season salt
Worcestershire sauce
Montreal Steak Seasoning
garlic and herbs
Next the mushrooms and sauce:
1 cup of sour cream/blend in at a low temperature
4 morrel mushrooms cleaned and cut in half
2 cans of cream of mushroom soup
2 packs of brown gravy
1 cup of filtered water
add parsley flakes
simmer for 5 minutes
Mix the ingredients together and serve add salt and pepper for extra seasoning!

4 lg Portabello caps, 4-6 inch in diameter (You can also use baby portabellas for this recipe. Use a grill pan and adjust cooking times, accordingly. Also you can bake the large mushrooms in a 350 deg oven for 5-7 minutes; less time for the smaller mushrooms
Marinade
3/4 cup canola oil (I mixed it with olive oil)
1/2 cup vinegar (red, white or apple cider)
1/4 cup soy sauce (I used liquid aminos)
1/4 cup packed light brown sugar (I used my Erythritol/Monk Fruit blend with molasses)
3-4 tablespoons Montreal style steak seasoning
