How To make Navarattan Curry

yogurt

heavy cream

green peas

raisins

almonds, blanched
DRY
MASALA :
1/2
teaspoon
cardamom, ground
1/2
teaspoon
coriander powder
1/2
teaspoon
ginger, ground
1/2
teaspoon
red chili powder
1/2
teaspoon
turmeric
Directions:
Note: For the random vegetables, can use, broccoli, green peppers, carrots, cauliflower, green beans, etc.
Boil vegetables (except onions and peas). Drain and set aside. Melt butter and saute onions and garlic. Add tomatoes, yogurt, and the dry masala, and simmer for 5 minutes. Add vegetables and simmer for another 5 minutes, then add water. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Add cream and peas, stirring gently. Before serving, top with raisins and almonds.

Cashew nuts - 15 gms
Kishmish - 15 gms
Almonds - 10-12 pcs
Fresh Cream - 1 tbsp
Yogurt - 1 tbsp
Melon Seeds - 1 tsp
Sugar - 1.5 tsp
Salt as per taste
Chopped ginger - 1 tbsp
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Bay leaf - 1
Hing - 1/4 th tsp
cumin Powder - 1/2 tsp
Ghee - 1 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
Mustard oil - 2-3 tsp
Vegetable oil - 2-3 tbsp
Milk - 1 cup
Green chillies - 2
Kasuri methi(Roasted)- 1 tsp
Paneer - 150 gms

Navratan Korma (Mix Veg Curry) Restaurant / wedding style
Here is very rich, delicious, authentic and very flavorful creamy Navratan Korma recipe (9 mix vegetable curry). The name comes from royal Navratan meaning Nine gems-which represents 9 veggies, fruits and nuts used in this onion-tomato creamy sauce/curry. This recipe is tested and perfected to its authentic taste and texture. Its very simple and easy to prepare with very few ingredients and spices. For this recipe I have used 9 vegetables/fruits/nuts but you can choose whatever is preferable to your taste. You may also substitute sugar with honey. The main and key ingredient is Kasoori Methi (fried fenugreek leaves) which gives its authentic flavor just like you find in North Indian restaurants.

Navratan Korma or Noborotno is a delicious rich creamy curry recipe made with mixed vegetables and dry fruits. It's made with 9 ingredients that's why it's called Navratan. People also cook non vegetarian version of Navratan, in this video we are presenting the Vegetarian version.

12. 12. Charmagaz 2 tbsp
13. 13. Poppy seeds 2 tbsp
14. 14. Milk 150 ml
15. 15. White Oil 2 tbsp

18. 18. Bay leaves 2 pcs
19. 19. Red chilies 2 pcs

Cooking Procedure:
Step 1: Prepare nuts and seeds paste by grinding cashew nuts, Charmagaz and poppy seeds.
Step 2: Boil all the vegetables and keep aside.
Step 3: Mild fry Cashew nuts and raisins and keep aside.
Step 4: Fry Paneer cubes until light brown.
Step 5: Add all the spices and saute for few minutes. then add tomato paste.
Step 6: Add boiled vegetables and add all the spice masala.
Step 7: Cover and boil for 5 mins.
