4-Ingredient Flourless Chocolate Cake Recipe
The most delicious flourless chocolate cake recipe is right here folks! This is a great video if you’re wanting to learn how to make chocolate torte. This no flour cake recipe is very simple to make, and is a great idea for any of you who will be looking for any Passover cake recipes. It doesn’t contain any almonds so it, technically, is not an authentic torta caprese, but it IS the most decadent flourless chocolate cake recipe there is.
Ingredients:
2 sticks butter
12 ounces semi sweet chocolate
2 ounces unsweetened chocolate
10 eggs
¼ teaspoon cream of tartar
2 cups sugar
Melt butter and chocolate in a double boiler.
Cool off until ready to mix with your yolks.
Separate egg whites from the yolk.
Beat egg whites with cream of tartar until you get soft peaks.
Mix sugar with egg yolk until you get a creamy mixture (about 10 minutes).
Pour chocolate into the egg yolk.
Fold egg whites into your chocolate goodness.
Pour into a spring pan whose base is covered in aluminum foil and well oiled.
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes at 300 °F.
Remove from your oven and cool off.
Then refrigerate overnight.
Sprinkle on top with powdered sugar.
When ready to cut make sure your knife is nice and hot (or very warm).
