Hi, Kristi at the Rada kitchen and today I'm going to make a recipe out of a cookbook we offer. It's called the No-bake: Cookies Bars and Pies. This has a hundred and twenty different recipes for scrumptious bars, tasty cookies, and delicious pies. You don't need the oven, you can mix them up in a matter of minutes, and they're homemade. Today I'm going to make salted nut roll bars. If you love the candy, you'll love these.
You will need a microwave-safe bowl, a nine by thirteen greased pan-I'm going to use the Rada stoneware nine by thirteen rectangular baker, a ten ounce package of Reeses peanut butter chips, a fourteen once can of sweetened condensed milk, three cups of miniature marshmallows, and a jar of salted or dry-roasted peanuts.
First you'll combine the can of the sweetened condensed milk into your microwave safe bowl, the bag of Reeses peanut butter chips, and three cups of marshmallows. Now I'm going to stir it with the Rada cook's spoon. These are ven recipes that children could help you with.
So mix that up, then we're going to put it in the microwave for about two and a half minutes and we're going to stir it every so often. Now that it's all microwaved, I've been stirring it about every thirty or forty seconds and all the marshmallows are melted and very creamy.
Now you're going to take half of your jar of peanuts, and you're going to put those on the bottom of your nine by thirteen pan that has been greased. Then you're going to pour your mixture over top. You just kind of evenly layer it.
Once you have all of the filling in there, you're going to take the rest of your peanuts, sprinkle those over the top. Just kind of evenly spread them out. Now we're going to put this in the refrigerator till they're firm, about an hour.
Our salted nut roll bars have been in the refrigerator for about an hour and they're ready to cut and serve. It makes about twelve servings. They are very delicious, your family will them, and it was easy to make. Just one of the more than one hundred twenty recipes in the No Bake: Cookies, Bars, and Pies.
