Tres Leches Cake (Milk Cake) Turkish style
Serves 8-9
Recipe in English:
Ingredients:
-Anday (Eggs) 5
-Bareek cheeni (Caster sugar) 3/4 Cup or to taste
-Vanilla essence 2 tsp
-Baking powder 2 tsp
-Cooking oil ½ Cup
-Soji (Semolina) 3 tbs
-Maida (All-purpose flour) sifted 1 Cup
-Cream 200 ml
-Cheeni (Sugar) 1/4 Cup
-Dry milk powder 1/4 Cup
-Doodh (Milk) lukewarm 3 Cups
-Makhan (Butter) 1 tbs
-Cheeni (Sugar) 1 Cup
-Cream 200 ml
Directions:
-In bowl,add eggs,caster sugar and beat until fluffy (approx. 5 minutes).
-Add vanilla essence,baking powder,cooking oil and beat for 2 minutes.
-Add semolina,all-purpose flour and fold gently with the help of the spatula.
-Grease baking dish with oil and pour prepared batter.
-Bake in preheated oven at 170 C for 30-35 minutes.
-In jug,add cream,sugar,dry milk powder,half quantity of milk and whisk well.
-Add remaining milk,whisk again & refrigerate until use.
-Take out cake from oven,using a skewer poke holes all over the top of the cake.
-Slowly pour the milk mixture over the top of the cake,filling holes.
-Let it cool down.
-In frying pan,add butter and let it melt.
-Add sugar and cook on very low flame for 12-15 minutes or until caramelized and keep mixing in between.
-Add cream and mix well until it thickens.
-Now spread caramel mixture over the top of cake.
-Refrigerate for 2 hours & serve!

-Bowl mein anday aur bareek cheeni dal dein aur fluffy hunay tak beat ker lein (approx. 5 minutes).
-Vanilla essence,baking powder aur cooking oil dal ker 2 minutes kliya beat ker lein.
-Soji aur maida dal dein aur spatula ki madad sa fold ker lein.
-Baking dish ko oil sa grease karein aur tayyar batter dal dein.
-Preheated oven mein 170 C per 30-35 minutes kliya bake ker lein.
-Jug mein cream,cheeni,dry milk powder aur adhe quantity doodh ki dal ker ache tarhan whisk ker lein.
-Baqi bacha huwa doodh shamil karein aur dubara whisk ker lein aur istamal hunay tak refrigerate ker lein.
-Cake ko oven sa nikal lein aur skewer ki madad sa cake per holes ker lein.
-Milk mixture ko cake ka upper dal dein.
-Thanda ker lein.
-Frying pan mein makhan dal ker melt ker lein.
-Cheeni dal dein aur bohat halki ancch per 12-15 minutes ya caramelized hunay tak paka lein aur bech bech mein chamcha chalatay rahein.
-Cream dal dein aur garha hunay tak ache tarhan mix ker lein.
-Ab caramel mixture ko cake ka upper dal dein.
-2 hours kliya refrigerate mein rakh dein & serve karein!

EASY AND DELICIOUS SHORTBREAD COOKIES | 6 INGREDIENTS RECIPE | 2 FLAVOURS | EFE FOOD KITCHEN
Hello everyone! Welcome back to my YouTube channel. Shortbread cookies are one of my favourites so, in this video, I show how I made them. I made two flavours; vanilla and chocolate chip. They are incredibly easy to make and took little time from start to finish.
INGREDIENTS
------------------------
3 cups all-purpose flour ( plain flour)
1 cup caster sugar
1/2 cup rice flour
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups softened salted butter ( or margarine)
METHOD
---------------
1. In a clean bowl add the butter followed by the sugar and whisk till smooth and pale.
2. Next, add the sifted flours and mix in with your spatula till it forms a soft dough.
3. Divide the dough between two bowls. Add the vanilla to one and the chocolate chips to the other and mix in thoroughly.
4. Wrap the individual dough in plastic wrap/cling film and put it in the fridge to rest for 20 - 25 minutes.
5. After 25 minutes, roll out your doughs between 2 greaseproof papers to avoid them sticking.
6. Use a round pastry cutter to cut out shapes ( any of your choice) and place on a greased baking pan lined with parchment ( greaseproof) paper.
7. Place in a preheated oven and bake for 25 minutes till baked but not too brown. It should be soft and buttery.
8. Enjoy with a glass of milk, hot drink, or juice.

Chinese Shortbread 2-Ways (Traditional Vs. Pork Floss Filling) Recipe (原味光酥餅與肉鬆光酥餅) with Papa Fung
A traditional Chinese shortbread that is slightly sweet, soft and powdery. It has a cake-like texture on the inside. To change it up, I created another version that incorporates pork floss as the filling to add to its texture and to give it a sweet and salty taste.

CHINESE SHORTBREAD IN 2 WAYS [原味光酥餅與肉鬆光酥餅食譜]
Makes 29 shortbreads (20 original flavours, 9 with pork floss filling). [製成二十塊原味,九塊肉鬆味。]
INGREDIENTS [食材]
600g Pastry Flour [低筋麵粉]
30g Milk Powder [奶粉]
6g Baking Powder [發粉]
2g Baking Soda [梳打粉]
150ml Milk [牛奶]
150g Sugar [糖]
130ml Peanut oil [花生油]
1 Egg [蛋]
200g Pork Floss (optional) [肉鬆]
DIRECTIONS [製作]
1. Combine pastry flour with milk powder, baking powder and baking soda. Sift, create a well. Add sugar, peanut oil and milk into the well and mix until combined, slowly add in the dry ingredients into the mixture. Once dough-like, add an egg and knead. [混合粉料過篩開穴,放糖,奶和油在中間拌勻,慢慢撥入粉料搓揉,途中加蛋搓揉。]
2. If the dough feels dry, add a little bit more oil and knead until smooth. Wrap and set aside for 30 minutes. [逐少加入油搓壓,要不斷搓壓至滑身,用保鮮膜包好靜置三十分鐘。]
3. Traditional Style: Divide the dough into even pieces, flatten and sift some pastry flour on top and bake at 320°F for 18 minutes. [取粉糰平均分成細粒,壓扁灑些麵粉在面,放入已預熱320度的焗爐內焗十八分鐘即可。]
4. Pork Floss Filling: After dividing dough into even pieces, flatten 2 pieces of dough, place pork floss on top of one of the dough disc, place the other dough disc over it and seal the edges. Sift some pastry flour on top and bake for 320°F for 18 minutes. [肉鬆餡:跟之前一樣壓扁粉糰,放適量肉鬆中間,將另一塊粉糰上面掐緊邊邊,灑些麵粉上面,放已預熱320度的焗爐內焗十八分鐘即可。]
